I would go with #1 - go to the lake house and help your parents. It will take your mind off of your house and what you have to do for a few days. A good bonding time.
Im in a rut. I'm so rundown and exhausted all the time, that I dont sleep very well since I have so many things on my mind. I dont feel like going through my coupons like I used to, dont even feel like working my at home job (which I love) anymore, and just leaving the house unless I have to is a huge task.
I have a few days off in a row coming up and I dont know what I should do with those days.
I can either
1- go to my parents lake house for the 3 days and help them stain the new addition and get away with my son and family (everyone except hubby)
or
2- I can stay home, let my son go to the lake with my parents and work on getting everything ready for the garage sale WE HAVE TO HAVE in the beginning of June.
This time off isnt until the weekend before Memorial Day, and I would have to be home by Monday so I can go to work.
So for the chance to win 1 of 3 potlucks of everything, give me what you would do if you were in my shoes.

I also choose #1, trust me that would help you more than option #2. I went throught the exact same thing in March this year(panic/anxiety attacks). Couldn't leave the house. I was off work 4 weeks and slept for 3 of them. Usually I'm not a big fan of sleeping, waste of time in my book. Had way to much on my plate :hectic1::hectic1::hectic1:. I sympathize with you, not only are you thinking about it, you are thinking what should you do to take care of it. Feel free to PM me if you want to talk.

I say #1 Also. You need to get away and relax for a couple days. Try and just forget about all your stress and have a good time with your family.
I also say Option #1. A change of scenery will help take your mind off things.
(And if you haven't seen a doctor lately, make an appointment. Stress can do funny things to you.)

I would say have your cake and eat it too! Spend Friday going through your stuff to get ready for the yard sale. Engage your son in this task and as a reward, head to your parents on Saturday morning and enjoy! You'll feel a huge weight lifted from your shoulders knowing that your big task is complete and you'd have had some help from your son too! Then reap the rewards and know that you can relax and rest for the remainder of the weekend enjoying family time. I'd also agree getting a doc appointment scheduled...

It might do you some good to get out of your house for a few days, and maybe you'll come back energized with a new perspective

Personally, I would lean toward #2. As parents, we all need some "me" time. Your son will have a great time with his grandparents, and you will have time to catch up on sleep, organize, and do whatever makes you happy. I think you need the break.
I would go with #2 just for me time but I love my parents but if I was already stressed they would add to it
I would do #2 also. I feel your pain also. I'm exhaused all the time and have wayyy to much to do all the time. It's hard to find a balance for everything. I have another sinus infection and the q's on piled up again from trades and store runs. Sometimes you just have to let stuff go and do for yourself. It's hard to do but you need time too.
