*HOLIDAY ADVISORY: This ride may run into the Christmas holiday and requires you to really pay attention to the thread. If you cannot do this, please do not ask for a ticket! You can ride next time!***

Here’s the ride:

This is the second iteration of my Wild Which Way Train. After running the first one, I think I've learned a few things, and I'm hoping this version will be bigger and better.

After reading this WHOLE THREAD and making sure you understand all the rules, here's how to sign up for this train.

1. Post a reply below telling me that you want a ticket.
2. Then send me a PM with the following:
* “Which Way Train” in the title
* your full name
* your mailing address
* a link to your wishlist (the link in your siggy is fine if it's up to date)

*Please note: you can only ride up to three trains (including conducting) at a time at HCW. If you are already on three trains, don’t sign up. You can catch the next one!

This is how this train will work:
(Please read carefully, this is NOT your standard train!)

For this train, I will take 10 people on the ride.

But there are no predetermined matchups.

After 10 riders sign up, I will post a mailing schedule containing five mailing dates as well as a list of two teams, the RED and the BLUE. (The dates will depend on how long it takes us to fill the train, but they will start pretty quickly once the train is full.)

It will look like this:

So on Date #1, I will send 10 potluck envies out, one to each of you, with Envie #1 written on the outside.

When you receive your #1 envie, you will report it as received.

On Date #2 (regardless of if your #1 envie has arrived yet or not), you will post to this thread the name of someone on YOUR team (the RED or the BLUE) to whom you are going to mail a potluck envie. You will write Envie #2 on the outside and mail it.

Once someone is picked, you cannot choose them again for that "round" of mailing. That ensures that everyone gets an envie. You may begin posting your picks at midnight EST on the mailing day, so obviously, if you are a night-owl, this works to your advantage.

On Date #3, you will pick a rider on the OPPOSITE team and post to the thread that you will send them a potluck. You will write Envie #3 on the outside of this envie.

On Date #4 you will pick someone from YOUR team and send them a potluck. You will write Envie #4 on the outside.

And on Date #5 you will all send ME a potluck, ending your ride on this train. (My mailman is going to think I'm nuts!!)

Obviously, you will also be reporting all these envies as they are received.

So grand total you will be responsible for four envies and you will receive four envies. Each envie will be a 25-coupon potluck. See additional info below for guidelines about what you should and should not include.

Despite having set mailing dates, this train will move as quickly as everyone sends and posts their envies as received, so I'm adding some incentive.

The first team to have ALL of its envies accounted for as received will win a bonus potluck from ME!

Please do NOT sign up for this train if you cannot commit to be an active rider and pay attention to the train thread. I will do my best to keep the thread updated, but you will need to be checking the thread frequently and paying attention to what other riders are posting. I hope that this will be a really fun ride with lots of chatter on the thread, but it really depends on everyone being an active participant.

In order to take this ride:

*You must be a member of the Trader group on HCW and have 20+ unique and NO negative feedback ratings.

*You must be able to mail envies on the mailing dates given. On my trains, I like to limit confusion, so no early mailing, please!

*You must be able to send out 100 quality coupons. That's 25 coupons inside each of the 4 envies.

*I’d like to give folks a chance to use the coupons before they expire. So please send coupons that have at least two weeks before they expire.

*You must have a posted, updated wishlist to ride.

When you take a ticket, you are agreeing to:

*…mail the envies as described above.

*…write your user name, “Which Way Train” AND the number envie on the outside of each envie you send.

*…post promptly in this thread when you send and when you receive envies.

*… remail your envie if it has not been received at the two week point. Joining this train means you agree to this rule. Please remember, that when you sign up to join a train, not only are you agreeing to the specific guidelines of that train but the train rules as posted HERE in general. Failing to follow the rules of the trains or not sending an envelope falls under a bad trade. You can be reported for this and be listed as a bad trader.

ALSO PLEASE NOTE: If you are the receiving end of an envie and have not posted that you have not received it by the two-week mark, it will automatically be considered received and marked received.

Additional fine print:

*No baby, no meds, no booze and no oddball products that very few members use unless you have an exact wishlist match. In other words, no junk!

*Limit of one copy of each coupon unless it is an exact match to a wishlist. An EXACT match is exactly that… if I say on my wishlist 75/1 Superpretzels, 50/2 is NOT an exact match. If you have and exact wishlist match, then duplicates are encouraged!

*You can always send more than 25. If you want to include more than one of a certain coupon, or some with a short expiration date, that is OK, but it has to be above the 25 coupon minimum. And if you do send extras, watch your postage!

*Printables, store-specific coupons, BTFE, Campbell’s Labels, Coke Codes, Pepsi Codes, etc., are great to send if the member can use them.

*Rebates and TMF forms are GREAT to include (just be sure they can be used in the state the receiver is in!).

*If for any reason you mail out late (life happens), post in the thread when it went out so your receiving rider can watch for it.

*Please leave feedback for fellow riders who send to you!

*Please also note that this is a potluck train! I hope that riders will try to match the wish lists of their assigned recipients, but just do the best you can. As long as you adhere to the other rules about expiration dates, minimum number of coupons and mailing on the mailing dates, you should be fine.

*You can always PM the member directly if you have questions about what they can or cannot use.

*And finally, if you have questions about the progress of this train or whether a trader sent you an envie that does not meet the requirements for this train, you can always contact me.

I will send off the first envies no later than Wednesday (giving myself a day just in case I don't get it done).

Remember that you are to mail each envie on its assigned day REGARDLESS of whether all your previous envies have arrived yet. But that means everyone has to be really good about labeling each envie with the proper week and your name.

The teams and mailing dates are as follows. Each week will have its own post to avoid confusion if we can.
