Thanksgiving with HCW!

I think we all had a great time doing this last year - so we are doing it again!

This is a unique trade. Its a "trade chain" with a twist.
These are similar to a ROAK, but you are required to send an envelope to another member.

The chain will start like this:

A member will post their wish list of dinner/dessert items/ingredients that they need to make their Thanksgiving dinner/or desert. (at least 10-15 items please)

Reply below them if you have some coupons that will help make their dinner/or dessert for thanksgiving! You must have one exact coupon on their list to reply below them, and be able to send the envie according to guidelines. (you will be mailing more than 1 coupon, see specifics below).

You then post YOUR list of thanksgiving meal needs. Someone will reply below you that they have something you need and so on.

The person who starts the thread will also be the person who ends the thread completing the chain.


Here is an example of how this will work:

Sally will post that she wants:
pumpkin (filling for pies $/1 or $/2)
pie crusts ( $/1 or $/2)
soy milk ($/1)
…etc. each list should be about 10-15 items long, the longer the better!

Jane will post that she is “PM’ing Sally to send her a Thanksgiving Envie”. In the same post, she will list the items she is wanting.

Once Jane finishes her post, she will PM Sally and tell her she is going to be sending her a Thanksgiving envie and ask for her address.

Lets try to help each other to make the best Thanksgiving dinner for the cheapest that we can!

Each envelope must contain:
-A minimum of 15 coupons
-No junk Q's. For this trade, food and paper products only. If you have exact matches to a person’s wish list, feel free to throw them in as extras or PM to see if they would like them included in the 15 minimum. Free's are always welcome, as long as they can contribute to the poster's list.
-Coupons that match the person’s wishlist as closely as possible (even if all 15 are not exact matches to the person’s wish list)

Before you post:
-Make sure you will be checking your PM’s. If someone PM’s you asking for your address, you need to respond within 48 hours with your address so they can get your envie to you, and keep the cycle going.
-Do not post if you cannot mail your envie out within 2 days.
-If you PM someone & don’t hear back within 48 hours, please PM thecooperhouse
