I received the football and sweet potato pie envies stuffed full of goodies yesterday. Thank you Ticone4!! I'll mail those back out tomorrow. Got home too late last night to mess with it.
Today I brought the gift basket to work to give to the winner of the food drive contest. I'm going to see if I can figure out how to post a picture here...I searched high and low for a cute basket but ended up giving in and buying an ugly one at the Dollar Tree last night. Oh well, it serves the purpose! It contained 3 Glade candles, small box of Russell Stovers chocolates, Ceramic pumpkin, 2 Glade oil warmers and refills, 1 Glade candle refill, Pumpkin reed difuser, bath salts, a notepad, and scarecrow decor ($0.75 on clearance at Walmart). According to a survey by the American Farm Bureau Federation, last year’s average cost of a turkey was roughly $1.19 per pound. Walmart’s $20 Thanksgiving feast includes: - One 12-pound Grade A turkey*
- Three 11 to 15.5-ounce cans Green Giant vegetables
- Two 14-ounce cans Ocean Spray cranberry sauce
- Three 6-ounce boxes of Stove Top stuffing
- One 5-pound bag of red potatoes
