I donated lots of stuff today. I have been meaning to clean out closets and finally have!!!

To a local homeless shelter:
15 pair of toddler boys jeans/pants
25 toddler boy shirts
10 (!!!!) pair of toddler boy shoes (they had more than me!!)
4 pair of men's jeans
5 men's t-shirts
2 men's dress shirts
1 pair of men's shoes
3 pair of maternity jeans
5 maternity dresses/skirts
5 maternity tops
2 pair of women's shoes

25 cans of Progresso soup (we had a huge sale last month)
10 boxes of microwave popcorn
5 boxes of crackers
2 bodywashes
2 shampoos
2 conditioners
5 tubes of toothpaste
15 kids toothbrushes

That's 143 items!

Plus, I worked with my "younger buddy mom" for 4 hours on parenting/job skills. I love this program I signed up for to help teach young moms (15-19 years old) parenting skills. My buddy is 16 and just gave birth to twin girls.

So my total for today is 163!

I received yesterday envie from chitownmelli family envie.i mailed another envie to austingirl.and sending out to roaks today.this weelkend i worked at my rummage/bakesale at church put in 2 hours and donated 30.00 to thanksgiving basket for people who need thanksgiving basket.and had 5 free friskie sensation treats turn them in and donated to animal rescue

I was thrilled to meet my mom of 4 in need today. Um ya, just like everything down here time runs slow (it was supposed to be 2 weeks ago).
She lost her job recently and has a 3yr old, 5 yr old, 8 yr old and 11yr old.
I met them through the man who owns the house next door, he is a deacon of his church and a really sweet guy.
Anywho, today I gave her:
2 boxes cereal
2 Keebler cookies
1 BC frosting
1 Newmans pasta sauce
5 DaVinci pasta
2 jars Peanut Butter
3 Hormel chili
1 Kraft dressing
2 boxes tea
2 boxes pancake mix
2 Simply ready to bake cookies
1 tabasco sauce
2 BC potatoes
1 cookie mix
2 tubes toothpaste
5 toothbrushes
2 bbque sauce
1 juice boxes
4 pills crescent rolls
1 dozen eggs
2 boxes fish sticks
2 butter

And as a bonus I got blessed by the deacon, his wife, the mom and all of the kids except the baby who was asleep lol.
