I have 4 items bagged for the local pregnancy center-diapers and wipes and will drop them tomorrow. I also have plans to start the kids clothes soon-I saved all the things that were still good from my oldest daughter for my youngest only to have given birth to 2 totally different body types one is tall and beanpole the other short and hippy-go figure, but it will make for one heck of a donation!!!

So I have been a busy little beaver these past few days. Made another trip to the store that doubles $1 q's so got LOTS of free stuff and taking it all to the Sr Citizen Center tomorrow.
2 packs Rolaids
1 pizza sauce
2 boxes SunCrystals sugar
3 boxes Suddenly Salad
1 Mrs Dash marinade
1 box Raisin Bran cereal
2 Dole 4-packs jello
6 Fiber One 4-pack yogurts

A lamp, pitcher & 5 articles of clothing to Good Will

30 minutes @ church Sunday morning teaching the toddlers
2 1/2 hours @ Trunk or Treat @ church Sunday evening
delivered 4 meals for the Meals on Wheels program in our county

I couldn't find anyone to take them and I met a woman at Goodwill that said she knew a women (happened to live near me) that her son was expecting a baby and she (the grandmother) would be with the baby a lot and couldn't afford the stuff so I said hey you can have them!!
The funny thing is the baby they are expecting is a boy and they were thinking of naming him Dominic!! Small world right, no they did not know DS's name before they told me!!

Man, you guys are hard to keep up with! I feel bad that I don't have more to donate. We just had a huge garage sale not too long ago and whatever didn't sale was donated. I sold a ton of stockpile items as well. Oh well, it was nice to declutter at the time.

I am happy to say that the food drive box at work was full so I emptied it and hopefully we can refill it by next Friday.

Today I finally had a chance to drop off 11 items (diapers, wipe, q-tips, changing pads, etc) to the Women's Shelter. I will probably get some more stuff together this weekend.

And it's triples time at Harris Teeter so I'm hoping I have some q's to stock up some items for some local charities. I'm sure I could find some more clothes to donate too. I'd love to volunteer but I work/commute 50+ hours per week and have a 6 month old so I feel guilty to be away from her when I have so little time with her already. :sad:

I donated 7 Breeze 2 Meters to the local senior citizen center.

I don't know if this counts, but I am in charge of the Pumpkin Party/Candy in a Car at our church which we hold for around 200-250 people (so a lot of work goes into it). Last week I spent 4 hrs on Monday decorating/setting up, Tuesday ran errands for about 5 hrs. picking up balloons, helium tank, pumpkins, food/drinks, extra candy, and Wednesday 6 hrs finishing up the prep work, hosting, and cleaning up.
Spent at least 3 hrs Friday following up with cards and calls to helpers, attendees.

Yesterday I donated 2 glucose monitors, 354 items to goodwill which included mine, my husband and 3 kids clothes, toys and misc items.

also, sending out 2 raoks today and forgot to mention that i took 2 pumpkin rolls and 12 pepsi 2 liters down to the church for evening dinner. the more i think about the pumpkin rolls, i am thinking of making one to keep here for me and my family! ;) sounds good. i think i'll do that!

I am donating 32 glucose meters to the Senior Center. I have to make room for the next MM at WAGS next week.
