I'm so behind in my clipping and organizing so I'm hoping that I can get motivated here if I offer a RAOK. I have some good inserts and great non-inserts to offer. All you have to do to have a chance to win a nice fat potluck from me is post here with how you stay on top of your coupon clipping!
It won't be today-have to weed and dig up my flowers!! lol

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who is behind......I have coupons in piles and little containers in the kitchen, dining room, and living room! I did go camping a few weeks ago and take a box full to separate out expired ones but that's as far as I got--still have all current ones (well, some are expired now) in the box. I try to at least keep up with the inserts by clipping and filing weekly in used envelopes stored in a shoe box with the most recent in front.
Thanks for the chance to add to my stacks!![]()
i clip mine each week as i need them. my problem is where to file the ones i have clipped, but not spent.

Thanks so much for offering this & for the chance!
Um - as far as staying on top of my "clipping" - I don't when it comes to inserts, LOL. I gave that up about a year ago. Now - I just have my inserts filed by date and go clip at the time I'm going to go shopping - cause I plan out my shopping trips with lists, etc (uh - I am a freak of nature like that) - or when I'm trading - I go & clip at the time I'm processing the trade.
Before - when I used to clip every weekend - it took FOREVER - I had piles of Q's everywhere! In my fantasy world - they would all fit in my purse - but in reality - not even a portion of them would & I have a big-ass purse! And also - I got partly annoyed because there were a lot of Q's that either I couldn't/wouldn't use & was unable to trade - so I kept thinking what a waste of time it was for me to have clipped then when all they did was sit there, ya know?
So anyway, the only ones I "clip" on a regular basis (try to do it at least once a week) are my printables and or magazine Q's - then I take them and divide them into piles: food, cleaning, medicine, etc - and they are rubber-banded by category so they don't fly all over the place.
Now - keeping my database HL up to date........that's a whole other story!

I don't have issues...I have the whole subscription.
I set aside time each weekend to go through the inserts for clipping and filing. Usually Sunday afternoon.....when DH is busy with sports. I clip the coupons I know I'll use and file those in my organizer I carry with me all the time. Then I just file the inserts by date. When the grocery fliers come out I can then just get the coupons from the inserts that I didn't cut originally. I now spent much less time each week cutting and filing.

I'm only on-line in the evenings since this site is blocked at work.
I am lucky to get sturdy boxes (the kind that large envelopes are packed in) where I work. I make dividers and file by date. So far, it's working pretty well. Oh, and DH does most of the clipping for me. I know, I know...I'm very fortunate and spoiled. He was laid off last December and it's his way of helping me.
What is this ''organized'' you speak of?I just work on my coupon-y things a little each day. Usually, I have paper products spread out on every surface in my house! And, if one coupon gets moved I know it!! I'm always asking dh where he moved something to. He doesn't believe that I know where everything is, even amongst the madness! I'm thinkin' we should feel good about ourselves as long as we TRY,lol!

OOh... I totally feel your pain... :) I was so far behind the last couple of weeks with my coupons everywhere on my desk and dining table. Luckily my DH and MIL wasn't complaining, they are just glad that I am saving money. Finally I had everything clipped and filed for now.
Well.. I cannot stand mess so when I see piles of coupons on my desk, I know I have to do something. Now, I don't get multiple inserts so it doesn't take too long to clip them. I dedicate one afternoon to do all the clipping and filing, just like I dedicate Tuesday to do the laundry etc. The best day for me is either Monday afternoon or Wednesday afternoon when DH is at work so I get no distractions.
And lastly, thank you so much for the chance!!! :) Hope you get your coupons organized soon!!
Cheers..
