Thanks for the chance. I keep a basket in the living room that I can throw stray toys in that is easy for DS1 to just pick up the basket and take all the toys back to his room to put them away. That way I have a place to put them without running up and down the stairs every time I find a stray toy.

I keep all my appliance, phone etc and warranty instructions in a three ring binder with the date purchased, how much I paid (receipt) and where I bought it. Every so often I go through it and discard what is no longer needed.
Thanks for the RAOK!
Thanks for such a great RAOK!!! My favorite tip is to velcro the pockets from an old apron to the edge of my son's play table to keep things he uses there (crayons, scissors, glue) organized. When he's done, all the stuff goes back into the pockets so we can clean the table. And, if you need to move stuff to another area, just take the apron with you and reattach to another table.
I would love this.I am no expert at household cleaning etc, but something I have found helpful is when I am cooking, is to clean up after my self as I go along. Washing a dish or two while the peppers are frying etc and putting away things as I use them, helps, and makes it so I don't have an overwhelming mess to clean up after dinner.
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
John 14:6 King James Bible
I CLEAN one day a month. I take most of the entire day and really clean things doing the vacuuming, dusting, really putting everything where it belongs, sorting through papers and shredding the ones that need tossing and filing the ones that need to be kept. Then the rest of the month, I do at least one thing a day. It may be as simple as cleaning all the mirrors or maybe it will be spraying and wiping one bathroom. I do things like laundry and dishes as they need doing but the other things seem so much more manageable when I only have to really clean one day a month and just do "something" every other day of the month. (I have a 13-year-old stepson who is old enough to pick up after himself and also old enough to take away privileges if he doesn't so I don't have small children to clean up after.)
my best cleaning tip?? a core chart for the kids

I try to do a little each day like vacuum, dust, wash, mop floors so I am not overwhelmed.
