Flat Stanley is a character in a children's book written in 1964. He is a perfectly normal boy until a bulletin board falls on him one night and smashes him flat as a pancake. Although not ideal, it does enable him to go on many unique adventures including being placed in an envelope and being mailed to California. In 1995, a third grade teacher created the Flat Stanley Project to encourage his students to improve their letter writing skills. Children would make their own Flat Stanleys, document what they did with him and where they took him and mail him off to other students to do the same in hopes of having Flat Stanley returned with new photos and stories of his traveling adventures.
My son never got to do this project while in elementary school and I always thought it was so cute so I figured sending a Couponing Flat Stanley on a coupon train would be the next best thing!!

You can only ride up to 3 trains at a time. If you are already on 3, please catch the next one!
You must have an itrader rating of 5 or more with no negative feedback.

The Details:
I will be taking 10 riders including myself and of course, Couponing Flat Stanley. As soon as I have enough riders on board I will kick off the train by mailing out the first envie with 25 coupons and little Couponing Flat Stanley to the first person on the list. That person will then take out what they want and any coupons that will expire before 2 weeks. They will then refill the envie with at least 25 coupons AND Couponing Flat Stanley and mail to the next person on the list and so on and so on.
The Twist:
When you receive your envie you will remove Couponing Flat Stanley and take a picture of him with something that you want to share with the other riders such as your "Carry to", your stockpile, your best receipt, or even just a picture of him along with you on a shopping trip. It's totally up to you. You will then post this picture prior to mailing the envie to the next rider on the list.
**Posting a Couponing Flat Stanley picture is
optional but each rider that posts a picture will be entered in a random drawing to be held at the end of the ride. The winner will receive a 30 coupon potluck from me along with Couponing Flat Stanley!!
Requirements to Join:
*You must post when you mail and when you receive. Remember to post your Couponing Flat Stanley Picture to be entered into the drawing.
*All coupons part of the 25 minimum must not expire before two weeks of the mailing date! If you want to include extras over the 25 count with a shorter date that is fine but they are extras!! So for example if you receive the envie on August 31st and re mail on the September 1st no coupons part of the 25 minimum can expire before September 15th!!
*You need a wishlist posted in the wish list forum to ride. The more items on your wishlist the easier it will be for other riders to match your list.
*Your envie should contain a minimum of 25 QUALITY coupons with no "junk" - as in no baby, pets, meds, booze or other oddball products unless it is a wishlist item. **YOU MUST ALSO INCLUDE COUPONING FLAT STANLEY!!** He would be so sad to get left behind. :sad:
*Limit of 1 of each coupon unless it is an EXACT match to a wishlist. For example, if someone's wishlist says $1/1 Juicy Juice don't send more than one $1/2 Juicy Juice. Feel free to send duplicates if it is an EXACT wishlist item.
*Printables are great IF the member you are sending to can use them. You may want to check first to see if they require them to be in color or if they can use b&w copies if this is not stated in their wishlist.
*Store specific coupons are acceptable but ONLY if they are a wishlist item.
*BTFE's Coke Codes, Pepsi Codes, Pamper Points, Stickers, etc. are all great to include if they are wish list items.
*Rebates and TMF forms are great to include as well, just make sure you watch state restrictions.
*This train is potluck which means you may not get 25 coupons from your wishlist in each envie. Although please try to match wishlists as much as possible.
*To keep Couponing Flat Stanley and his train moving down the track you must post your Flat Stanley picture (if you choose to post a picture) and mail your envie to the next person on the list within 48 hours. If an unforseen issue arises and you are unable to do so, please PM as soon as possible in addition to posting an update in the thread as to when it will be going out.

Hi riders!! Ok, so I was thinking that since we are only doing one mailing at a time that there is a lot of downtime in our ride so I thought I would add another little twist. Periodically throughout our train I am going to post some Flat Stanley trivia questions or other things of that nature so that those of you riding the train can win special RAOK envies from me.
