Cherish every moment with her while she's still young. Happy Birthday to your DD
My DD's birthday is next week and she is growing up so fast.....on one hand I am so proud of her and it is neat to see her grow and change but on the other hand, I miss my little bald-headed baby! It has really been hitting me hard lately because she is turning 9 and this is the first birthday where she really seems more grown up.
If you have any stories or words of encouragement to make me feel better, please post. I would appreciate it. I will let this go for a couple of days and then pick a winner based on the post I like best. I will work off your wishlist if possible. Thanks!![]()

At 15, almost 16, my DD chooses to sleep with me! (I'm a sm). She calls me from school to tell me that she made a 100 on a test, sends me text messages all the time, and she calls me on the way to summer camp. She calls me when she gets to camp to tell me she's there ok and she loves me! She collects James Avery charms, and chose '2 peas in a pod' for one birthday saying, "that's you & me, Mom." I guess my point is she'll ALWAYS be your little girl! Happy Birthday Princess!![]()

Well my DD is turning 10 years old next month. And grow they do, so many changes so fun to be around. I think we are getting closer because we can do different things because of her age. Every stage is the greatest if you make Communication the priority. Mine will always be may baby girl, however watching the new discoveries of new abilities is wonderful in its own right. Enjoy these times they are memorable.

BIG HUGS TO YOU!!!!
I have a 4yr old and every year he gets older I feel closer to him. I hope this remains true threw his teenage years. You have so many more memorable firsts coming up. Enjoy everything as it comes. (sweet 16, driving, prom, college, wedding,) and when she is grown and you think how quickly she grew up then you can start all over but this time with grandchildren!![]()
Even though she is 9 going on 16, don't give in to her wanting to be "grown up". She will be happy later in life when she looks back and realizes her mommy let her just be a kid. Children always seem to want to be "older" but when we get old, we miss those easy days of childhood. Enjoy every minute with her, it all goes by too fast. In the blink of an eye almost. Blessings! And tell her happy birthday from a fellow couponer. ;)
