My lil' boy Butchie is gonna be a proud papa! Butch is my 3 lb, 2 year old Chihuahua. He recently met, courted and according to my daughters married a friend of mine's 2 year old, 4 lb. super cute Chihuahua!

So now they're expecting, the Vet says he's pretty sure there are 2 maybe 3 little ones on the way ! We have been so so so anxious for this for a long time! My daughters are so thrilled!! As am I ! We took our time finding him a better half, and of course the planning and saving to make sure everything will be taken care of, you never know with tiny dogs like this ! There was a lot of planning and a lot of coupon clipping to get the money together for the "just in case" Vet fund and yadda yadda yadda! Also to make sure we had homes lined out for potential offspring, less our pick of the litter! But after almost a year we made it!!

Butchie really is my 'lil boy! He snuggles and sleeps with me, right under my chin, on his back with is paws in the edge of the blankie like a tucked baby! It's hilarious! He's a very agressive when he's out for "nuggles as we call it! When I came down with Lupus I was in bed a lot, and lonely. Butchie and my coupons really got me thru a lot of hard times keeping me company when I felt so alone.



So now in honor of Butchie's new found friend and upcoming family and also given I have scored some awesome non-insert q's lately , I'm going to send out 25 non-insert coupons to 2 members who post here on this thread with a lil bit about their pet and why they too are a member of the family as Butchie is! My daughters ages 7 and 9 will read thru them and pick the winners on Monday 5/18 at 8pm, the winners will be posted shortly there after.

I'm so happy for you and your new litter! We have been waiting for months for our new puppy and we will be getting her in just 15 days!! Yay!! She is a Golden Retriever pup. Here is a pic of part of her litter at 4 weeks old (there were 9 puppies!), not sure which one is ours yet. They are all so cute!



The pup's new sister, our current gorgeous girl Sophie, will be so happy to meet her. She loves to play. Sophie is a 2 year old Golden Retriever seen here at a SF Giants baseball game (Dog Days of Summer Event):



My favorite thing about Sophie is snuggling up with her in the bed in the morning to keep me warm after my husband goes to work. When she stretches out on the bed she is almost as long as me! She's a big 78 lb girl. Her biggest personality trait is that she is a THIEF! She loves to steal socks, slippers, paper towels, and COUPON INSERTS!!... and then taunt us with them so we will chase her to get them back. She used to just run behind the couch with her new possessions to hide from us, but that leads to a dead end and is easy to get them from her. Now she has learned to run out the doggy door to the backyard and if we're lucky we can distract her with a tennis ball. It can be annoying at times, but it still always brings a smile to our faces as we chase her around!

Congratulations! This will be such an awesome opportunity for you and your family! And I wish them a successful "marriage" lol.

I take any opportunity to talk about my pets, so here I go!

Teddy is a pomeranian, and Trixie is a miniature pinscher. Teddy is the feisty one- he likes to stir the pot and he has a little attitude! We got Trixie from the SPCA animal shelter and she is such a sweetheart. She likes to cuddle and snuggle with us most of all. Adopting her from the shelter inspired me to volunteer there, and I am so grateful that I did.

Trixie's favorite activity is squirrel "hunting" although she never catches them. She likes to get as close as possible and then sprint, but those squirrels are never slow enough! Teddy just watches her and smiles. Both of them LOVE to go for walks and play with their toys. Teddy's favorite thing to do is to steal our socks and run around the house with them so we chase him. :shrug7:Of course he doesn't play with his real toys, only the socks...

This is our new furbaby, Munchie. He's a 5 pound 5 yr old chihuahua...we saved him from a rescue, where some mean people dropped him off overnight by putting him between the doors there. We brought him home and got him up to speed on his health- he had kennel cough.

Now that Munchie is recovered from his illness, he is full of energy! He loves to go for walks with a friend's 130 pound black lab-they walk very well together!! Munchie likes to run at the park (on his big leash, of course) and loves his squeaky toy & bully stick. Afternoon or anytime naps in his favorite pink fleecie blanket & kitty bed are the best- well at least that is what I think he's saying!
He's a true cuddler, loves to be where his furmomma is and can do a few tricks.
Munchie has adapted to our family in little less than a month here, we love him and look forward to many happy years with him

All of your puppies are SOOO cute.

I have 2 yorkies and a jack russel, and my sis has a rat terrior (don't ask), a mutt, and a pitt bull mix.

My dogs also sleep with me every night (my boyfriend hates this). It's the main thing we fight about, actually. That I treat my animals like they are my babies. One of the yorkies and the jack russel sleep under the covers with me.

My little chihuahua Rocky - somebody gave him to my sis-in-law and she didn't like him so she mistreated him. He was also born to a bad breeder so he has a lot of health problems - allergic to the ground, dog food, etc. He's like my little baby - he requires a lot of attention but we wouldn't trade him in for the world

oooh, I miss my big boy sooo much!! I decided to write about him. Pumba was a huge 105lb golden retriever who loved to play ball and sit on your feet. Yes, you read right...he would literlly lean all of his weight against you and he would also try to sit in my lap---all of him. He was my baby! After college my now husband and I moved in with parents because we both were trying to find jobs in our fields(very confuzing time) so I did what was best for him. We gave him to a rescue shelter where he would be adopted into a good home. They didn't change his name....I was told there was no need he was a very well taken care of dog; he was not like some of the animals that were mistreated. The last I've heard he was in a family with kids and he loves playing with the kids....he lives in Charleston, SC. now. I love him and miss him alot.

Congragulations on your new puppy! They are gorgeous ...we had a Retirever when I was a little girl, Harvey was his name, after the dog in ET I think LOL I used to ride him like a pony LMAO He was quite possibly the smartest dog ever !!

OceanBreeze - Ok so that Chi ought to be illegal he is so cute !! Our lil buys were a resuce aswell , some awful woman has literally 3 dozen or better Chihuahuas having litters all over this piece of property , a ways out of town. Enough compaints and the County shut her down...thus how we found our 2 lil Furbabies !!

Munchie , I am so serious , looks absoloutely idnetical to Butch! Our Butchie is only 3 lbs or so...a lil smaller, but they could be the same dog! Right down to the pose and everything !! thats Nuts!!

MayanFire - I used to have Yorkshire Terriers when I was a teenager. Yorkies are really really smart dogs! But stobborn, well mine were anyways LOL Gave them a certain amount of personality LOL Fun Fun! I had a JackRussel too several years ago...Aris was an awesoem dog! Now those dogs are shap too ! Very Loyal !! Awesoem dog for a young child IMHO!

Jojaby - your lil Chi looks like my other CHihuahua , Nucy! My daughter swear by it !! Nucy is more of a "deer" CHihuahua body type if that makes sense? SHe runs and jumps like a friggen Gazelle! So of the stuff her 5 lbs manages to clear is impressive ! SHe's really really active, and seriously bouncy! She belongs to my youngest daughter who is 7. Sammie, my daughter is outside most of the day now that it's warm, and Nucy is bouncing right behind here always less than 3 feet or so away from her..follows her everywhere! CHihuahua's are so unbeleiveablly loyal once they bond and make an attachment to a human like that !
Nu-Nu, that what we call Nucy for short , she is stuck on Sam like white on rice...that picture of your Chi with I assume your daughter..reminds me lots of Nunu! Too cute !!

I'm so sorry you had to give up your baby! I have had to do that once before. It hurts, bad...but it's better to make sure they get what they need as oppossed to being selfish and keeping them knowing they arent going to get as much attention as they deserve. I'm glad he was adopted in to a home where is clearly loved and also has the attention to give to him ! Kids and Retrievers almost always do well together from what I've seen !

AHHH your chis are SO cute! What adorable faces!

Trixie is a miniature pinscher breed, but you might not be able to tell because her ears and tail are not cropped like most miniature pinschers. It's okay, though, because I like her how she is.
