Welcome to the Jingle Bell Race coupon train!

This coupon train will be a race to see which of our three "lines" make it home first. There will be 5 riders on each line. The winning line will receive 2 RAOK envies as assigned by me from members of the other teams! Remember you may ride up to 3 trains at once @ HCW, if you are already on 3, I hope to catch you on the next one!

Who can ride?

Any member of the trading group who has 5 positive feedback or higher may ride. Newbies are welcome and are encouraged to post or PM their questions to me before it is their turn to mail. Traders in Training, you will need to graduate before signing up to ride trains, so catch you on the next one!

Any one who signs up should make sure that they are available at any point within the next 5 weeks to receive and mail the envie as it comes to you. I do not see it actually taking 5 full weeks, but to be on the safe side, that is the time line I will be working with for completion of this train.

How does this train work?

I will start the envies for each line with 35 or more q's. Your riding order will be posted and the addy list (in order) will be in the envie and should remain there for the duration of the train.

I will mail as soon as the train is full and I have created the 3 train lines and typed up the addy lists. As a note, the rider lists will be totally random, the trains will likely bounce all over the country, and there will be no way at all to predict which team will win since mailing times are different in different areas.

When you receive the envie,

you will post to the thread that you received it

Take out any q's that you want, as well as those that expire within 3 weeks of your mailing day, and refill the envie to at least the minimum amount of q's acceptable for this train (35) and label the envie with the train name and the line name.

Mail out ASAP and post to the thread that you have mailed.

Note: Posting to the thread when you receive and mail is a REQUIREMENT.

So, to recap, each member will receive the train envie once and will mail it out once. You are not finished with this train until a winning line has been declared and the RAOK envies have been sent out and received by the winners.

Envie requirements:

Each envie shall have no fewer than 35 items in it at any point in time. And they must not expire sooner than 3 weeks of your mailing day.

You may include MIR, TMF, Wine tags (watch the state restrictions) insert q's, printables if the next person can use them, coke codes, pepsi codes, pampers points, BTFE and just about anything else that your fellow riders are able to use, as long as they are legal and within the HCW rules.

Extras are always a nice treat, just watch your postage so your envie doesn't get returned.

You must take out the q's and other items that are going to expire sooner than 3 weeks of your mail date, and replace them.

We are not going to be allowing junk on this ride. To clarify, that would be meds, depends, pet, and baby items unless the next rider says that they need them.

You may include up to 2 of the same q in your envie unless you have arranged in advance with the next rider to send more of a certain q or item if they need it.

The RAOK envie that is assigned to be mailed by members of the 2nd and 3rd place teams will follow the same guidelines. 35 q's, 3 weeks out, no junk, etc. and will be mailed within 3 or 4 days of receiving your mailing assignment.

With all of the record keeping going on with my trains right now, I will not be responding individually as you PM me, you will just see the rider list be updated. If you PM me and it does not update right away don't worry, when I am busy, I leave the new PM's unread for the time so I don't forget to log everything :)

I need to add, that I really really love your guys a lot... once I bundled up, grabbed the puppy, and the envies and got out the door, I realized, it was sleeting on me!!! The blue box is only half a block away so I said "come on, Duff, we can do it!" And then we came home and salted the sidewalk and the porch because I like to shovel, not chisel :)

Soooo, now it's snowing and it is quite lovely outside. I am baking peanut butter cookies to share with my neighbor and boy oh boy am I tired. I can't believe I actually got those envies out today tee hee!
