New TS3 ticket offer?

I was wondering if anyone else thinks this might work? Deal on my email is, buy $25 worth of ToyStory merchandise and get a movie ticket for Toy Story 3, value up to $7.50.

I was thinking of doing this:

Toy Story 3 Tag Book: 13.98
Toy Story 3 Tag Jr. Book. 11.98
Toy story 3 filler (?? - Cheapest on website $4.99)

- 2 $5.00 TAG BOOK coupons = -$10.00

Total cost: 24.98 - $10Q - $3 birthday Q - $7.50 ticket (already plan to attend movie.) = 2 TAG books for $4.48+ cost of filler + tax.

2 questions though..

Does anyone think there will be a cheaper filler than what is on the website? Anything less than $4.99?

Will TRU honor the PREcoupon price of $25.00 for the ticket? The email says bring your receipt to Guest Services for the ticket.. does it just depend on the associate working that desk?

Does anyone have experience with TRU promotions like this? This will be my first.. I don't want to bother if it's a PITA.

I just did the TS3 ticket deal. I bought Buzz Lightyear Potato Head, View Master Reel TS3 Pack, Buzz Lightyear Pez, and a Tag Jr TS3 book. my total before coupons was $26. The register did not prompt for my ticket. The manager gave it to me anyway, but I think the problem was the Tag Jr. Book. The register did not recognize it was a TS one. I did use the 20% off one baby item and it worked on Buzz Potato Head making him $7.99. The Pez was $1.99 and was my filler item. I even used the $5 coupon. If you buy the Tag books, make sure you get your ticket.

Actually did this deal this afternoon. Purchased the tag, tag jr & a step2 storybook.

Tag - 13.98 - $5 q
tag jr - 10.98 - $5 q
book - 3.99 - $3birthday q

total after tax $17.xx

register DID prompt for movie ticket. Heads up though, movie ticket is just a card with a code. It does not require the register to do anything. So, if you can sell guest services that you did the deal right..
