    HELP TRU scenario question

Ok so I haven't found any coupons for TRU to use in the Leap Frog deal going on this week (Spend $75 on Leap Frog items get $20 off). Here is my question, do they take the coupons off before they hit total? Or should I say are they supposed to?

I just got a $10 off a $100 for TRU and I have a few other times I can add to get my total up. The thing is I am trying to figure out what to base my $100 total on. Here is what I was thinking:

$75 worth of Leap Frog stuff
$10.99 x2 for My Little Pony w/crazy hair
    $10.79 for Kai Lan plush
    ------------
    Roughly $107

    Now in a perfect world:

    -$10 off $100
-40% off Kai Lan toys TRU coupon
-$4 or $5 off (can't remember) My Little Pony manu. coupon

    Then when they hit total:

-$10.99 BOGO My Little Pony promo
    -$20 off Leap Frog promo

I also have a $10 gift card. So does this seem likely to happen? I just wanted to run this by someone else to see if they see any problems, besides then hitting total too soon. I realize I am running that risk. I do plan to have the coupon in the cashiers hand ASAP. The My Little Pony manu. Q is also off of $20 so that one will need to happen before they hit total too.

    If not it's ok. I don't NEED the My Little Pony's :hectic1:

Yes, there is a Leap Frog coupon out for $10 off, but can not remember for what. It is a printable. Yes the MLP coupon is for $5/$20

I would probably use your coupons in this order
    -$10 off $100
    -$5/$20 MLP Coupon
-40% off Kai Lan toys TRU coupon

If all is good then your total would look like $47.47 It's worth giving it a try.

Yeah I have only seen a $10 Tag coupon which we have. I was going to get a few of the toys and a few books. I was thinking half off was a good deal too! I am hoping it does work out that way. I know they have told me a few times that the promo's don't show up "until the end"....hoping that means when they hit total.

I was wondering this too....If I bought a tag junior plus 4 books, that should be around $75. Then they'll take off the $20 (hopefully?)....then I would give them the $10 Q for the tag system, and 4 of the $5 tag book Q's. Making it around $25 for everything, right??

The Tag coupon is ONLY for the original Tag. There is a $5 coupon for the Tag Junior. the $5 coupon from wendy's is also for the original TAG books or system ONLY... The original TAG is $49.99 I believe, the books go for $13.99 each, unless they are on special. So, I don't think your scenario would work....

Actually I used the $10 Leapfrog Tag coupon toward the Tag JUNIOR and it worked fine. Once at Target and once at Toysrus. I used the $5 coupon for the Tag Junior BOOKS....6 different times :)

I got the Tag Junior system for $8.99 at Target a couple of weeks ago....and after I posted my question above about toysrus, I went there too and got the Tag Junior system, plus 4 extra books for $32 after tax.

I think the $20 off $75 Leapfrog toys was that one day only.
