I went late in the afternoon Friday, and even though all the hot items were gone, (I was hoping to snag the $12.49 drum pad for my 4 year old, but they were all out) I think that I managed to do pretty good:

total after tax: $2.13 , repeated same transaction again.


$27.71 for 3 Trio Building Sets, 3 Jumbo Packs of Diapers, 2 Hasbro Card Games*, and 2 Word World magnetic plush toys.

:hectic1::hectic1: *However, I managed to leave the itty bitty bag with the card games in them at the register :sad:. The cashier was still bagging up the items in seperate little bags even though I said one big one was fine. I guess I just missed it picking up everything else. To top it all off, I was visiting the in laws out of town. My Bro in law drove me and I was headed back home when I realized I left it. He offered to go back for me, but I told him it would be a waste of gas for two little games that I only paid .49 for. He was like: ".49?!?! What?!?!" lol. So, I spent the ride home giving him a "mini" crash course: coupons 101...

I tried to use the Hasbro B1G1 q @ two different locations and was shot down both times. The second store went as far as giving me my grand total of .55 cents and the manager said the store was offering the same deal as the coupon (huh?) and it was either the promo or use the coupon but, not both...I walked away with my coupons and no card games:sad:

I tried to use the Hasbro B1G1 q @ two different locations and was shot down both times. The second store went as far as giving me my grand total of .55 cents and the manager said the store was offering the same deal as the coupon (huh?) and it was either the promo or use the coupon but, not both...I walked away with my coupons and no card games:sad:

I would mail a copy of the coupons, the names of the manager at both locations that you went to and write a letter to corporate. Be sure to mail also a copy the ad. Keep the original ad and coupons for yourself. Let corporate know what happened and ask if they can either honor the deal for you at a later date (using the original coupons and promotion) or issue a GC. The managers were wrong and you should (and will !) be compensated for it. Store promotions/coupons are combinable with manufacturer's coupons, that is their policy. "Bing it" * and you should be able to pull up the corporate contact info....

Thanks for the tip. The q does exp tomorrow (11/30/09) so, maybe a call to corporate will do...if only I can find the number.
