Default problem!!

I had boughten the kitchen and cart combo last week for $39.99 it came on sale today so I went to price adjust it to $29.99 They told me they we're unable to price match the entire difference due to the fact that I used a birthday coupon with a $5 of $25 purchase. Mind you this was not the only item I purchased so I definately would have been over the $25. With there pro - rating system when you use a coupon the wanted to refund me the difference minus the coupon amount that was given to that item. Is that right - because it doesn't seem right to me. If anyone has insight on this issue or can locate a price adjusment policy please let me know - because my manager referred to the pice adjustment policy as the "return policy" hanging from the ceiling. I told her they we're two different things. Uhhh.. vented.

Default Re: problem!!

I think this is what you are saying -
When you bought the kitchen, the retail price was $39.99. You also bought other items and used a $5/$25 coupon. The $5/$25 coupon is spread across all of the items you bought. So on your receipt it show the price for the kitchen as less than $39.99. You would like the price adjusted as it is now on sale for $29.99. They have offered you the difference between the price on your receipt ($39.99-adjustment for coupon) instead of the full $39.99.

If I got all of that straight, then yes, it does make sense to me.
