Default ? On Rewards Members & Bonus Offer

In this week's ad (Nov. 8-14) if you are a Rewards R Us member and you buy Modern Warfare 2 you get a $20 gift card. Then, right above that it says free $10 gift card when you buy one of these games. I am assuming MW2 is included. Do you get both the $10 and $20 gift cards or do you only get the $20 gift card?

I am not sure, but I'm assuming that since the $10 giftcard is all week long and the $20 giftcard is only from 10-2 tomorrow, that you will only get the $20 giftcard.

I will be finding out for sure in the morning when I go get this game for my husband.

I plan to get the game and a movie and possibly a filler to get me to $75 if I need to. Then I will use the coupon from the Toy Book that does NOT exclude video games to get a $10 giftcard, a $20 giftcard for buying the game and then a $5 giftcard for the movie!

I will only get the $20 gift card. We scoped out the store tonight. Tomorrow my scenario will be as follows:
$59.99 Modern Warfare 2 for dh
$3.99 for Memory
$3.99 for Ants in the Pants
$7.99 for Boggle Jr.
$9.99 for Connect 4
-$10 Hasbro Game gift card
-$10 gift card with purchase of $75 or more
-$20 gift card for purchase of MW2

So, $85.95 worth of product for $45.95, then minus whatever the rebates are for. Is that an scenario that works?

I am planning on going to TRU tomorrow for the game also..its an hour away but DH was going to buy this game at Gamestop anyway ans I am going to do the Hasbro deal. Anyhow where could I get the coupon from the Toy Book that does NOT exclude video games???? TIA this would just make the deal so much sweeter!

Oh crap! I didn't even read the fine print. It does exclude the video games! Nevermind. The $10 off a purchase of $100 or more does not exclude video games, so you could add a $15 item to that list and use that coupon.

Do you have the coupon from the big Toy Book that came out a couple weeks ago? That one doesn't exclude video games. Just video game hardware (which would be controllers, remotes, etc).

Yes, that's the $10 off a purchase of $100, so you have to decide if it's worth it to buy $15 more. If you combine the Hasbro game deal and the MW2 gift card deal you have $85.95 and with the $10 off of $100 coupon, you would get a $15 item or items for $5. You have to decide if you want to spend an extra $5.

We signed up at the store. Its not a CC, just a rewards card where it tracks your spending. There are several promo periods during the year, for every $150 you spend, you get a $5 Rewards certificate . There are some exclusions (like baby furniture doesn't count for the full $ value, but .50 for every $1 spent)
You should be able to sign up at Rewards"R"Us, benefits

They gave me one when I signed up for a baby registry.
We just got back from TRU and were able to get everything on our list (but just barely, I may have been the last one to buy Ants in the Pants) and we also bought Don't Break the Ice, Don't Spill the Beans, Cootie, and another Memory game (if I were just slightly smarter, I should have bought a different game for the rebate) and we donated them to Toys for Tots. All that brought our total to $101 ($108 with tax), we got $10 off, a $30 gift card, and I can submit $13 for the rebate.
