our store didn't open at midnight. there was a very long line and it was raining and cold, so we sat in the car for an hour. there was commercial after commercial for toysrus and the midnight opening. but, at about 12:10, a cruiser came by and let everyone know that the town doesn't allow anyone to be open between the hours of 1 am and 3 am unless they always are (gas stations, some cvs stores, etc.).
very annoying. all i was planning to get was the rose petal cottage stuff at 70% off, since they are really cute but WAY over-priced regularly. i didn't go back until late saturday afternoon, figuring they would be all gone, but they did have a decent stock left so i was able to get the house and stove, and the sink. they had other pieces, but i figured those were enough. i paid $25!!!
