Using Coupons at BRU

I just went to Babies R Us today with my grandparents to pick out a carseat for my little girl who's going to turn a year in less than a month! One of the salespeople there clued me in to how their register works with their BRU coupons. She told me that I could use the 15% off any carseat coupon that recently came in a homemailer WITH the 15% off ANY one item coupon as long as you purchase at least 2 items. The computer will not accept 2 coupons for one item, but if you purchase 2 items, they will accept both coupons, taking the 15% off the highest item purchased. The carseat we purchased normally is $99.99, and then the 15% off carseat coupon took about $15 off, and the other 15% off coupon took 15% off the $85 price - so about another $13, for a total savings of $28, making the carseat only about $72 (+ tax of course). It doesn't matter what the second item is - ours happened to be a pair of shoes, but it could be as small as a piece of candy or a bottle of pop.

I never knew this before today, so I thought I would pass on this great information!!

thanks i was wondering about that since the wording on all of mine says
.... One coupon per guest. ..... Not valid with any other R Us offer for same item ....
