Catalina vs. Gas Points

Just some information:
I don't know if anyone else shops at a Tops that does not have a gas station. The Tops in Meadville, PA does not have a gas station, thus does not give gas points. For the past 2 weeks, none of my catalinas have printed for OYNO (or any catalinas at all for that matter) - which added up to $11 OYNO. I had to go to CS both times to remedy the issue. The assistant manager told me that those stores with a gas station give gas points instead of catalinas, however since Meadville does not have a gas station, they do catalinas. Some sort of technical issue between corporate and the actual store is not allowing them to print....

if you go back through some recent threads, you'll see that people, including myself, have had problems with CATs printing. i had no issues with the dole CAT last week, nor the kellogg's milk CAT, nor the semi-unadvertised Nestle CAT. i was hoping they fixed the problems. i definitely have seen times when i was supposed to have qualified for a OYNO CAT, but have seen on the receipt that i got gas points instead.
hopefully the arm and hammer/OXY CAT will work, because a lot of people are going to use that. (.20c money maker this week after coupons, tax and CAT).

I shop in PA too, I drive to NY for the gas. Each and every trip to the store sends me to the customer service desk for them to add the gas points. I called customer service and they walked my store through it, I will be driving to NY next week with $3.40 off s gallon of gas. We make a day of it, hit other stores out to lunch etc. 3.40 x 30 gallons makes it so worth it to me.

That's really odd. I live in NY and some stores in the area have gas while others do not, but either way we always get CAT's and gas points. Sorry for all your troubles w/ them!

I had to to to CS for the Dole CAT last week, as well as the Arm & Hammer CAT this week :0(

I also live in NY. I have 2 tops stores within a 50 mile radius. One has a gas station and one does not. Both give out catalinas and both give out gas points even though only one of them has a gas station.

Sounds to me like they need to get things organized at your stores.

I get so annoyed over the catalina situation because it almost always fails to print and I end up going to Customer Service. Then you wait in line....and then you hold up other people, just trying to get what you should have gotten to begin with. I did the oxy clean thing twice this week and miraculously it printed both times. Shocking!!
