i threw together a couple of random scenarios for the CAT deals in the other thread. nothing really wild unless you love those smelly cone things (i still haven't read anywhere that you can't use the printable and the b3g3 together) lol.
the pudding 3$discount/3$cat thing with enough coupons is free or close.
i'd been looking for decent BPA free storage containers, so 8$ or so (with tax) for six packages after qs and CAT is pretty good.
regionally, we in WNY didn't get the .50c coupon for the bbq sauce, which is unfortunate, as that would have made for good filler.
if you really love that farmhouse dressing and have six coupons, that's not terrible either.
2.5$x6=15-6$q-5CAT=4$ no tax. 75c each i guess. that's a bit too heavy of a salad dressing to have that many for me though lol. every family is different.
hopefully they start that coupon thing on gas points again in two weeks lol.
on that note, be sure to use your discount before from this month before it expires in eleven days or so.
there is a tunafish CAT floating around out there too. 1.50 when you buy x.
i saw a kellogg's cat that starts one of these weeks that looks promising. something about free milk CAT wyb3 cereals. too bad i have such bad luck with their website and printing coupons.

Gas Points ended on Saturday the 12th. :(

It was good while it lasted...3 free tanks!

Bummer...Buffalo New's Eggo coupon was for $1 off of 3. Yuck.

Also Buffalo News had B3G3F Renuzit Adjustable Cones coupon

yeah we didn't get the good amounts either, fortunately there are some great traders on here that did! Thanks for the info about the gas points...our car has been broke down so I haven't gotten to Tops recently.

as i mentioned earlier, you can still use the discount until the 26th if you haven't already.

worth noting is that at the going price of gas, to get three free tanks, you'd have had to have used over 1200 manufacturer's coupons! in like a one month time span. that's like 40 coupons a day, every day. (both of which are large numbers)
i bow to your coupon usage.

lol. I actually stopped to figure it out a few days ago and came at approximately 1100 coupons. My boyfriend's jaw dropped.

The earning period was at least 6 weeks long so not quite 40 coupons a day....still a lot of work! I was actually relieved when March 12th was over. I'm sure I'll cry when I have to pay for gas again though...

sorry. i was basing my calculations on 3.70 a gallon and forgot it was six weeks., not four. and, six weeks ago, the price was less, which is why i was off. still, that is a wild amount of coupons. at Tops of all places! did you guys have better deals than us or something? i mean, i was begging to use more coupons and really couldn't find any sort of real freebies or good CAT orders. we don't have a large family and i don't just go up with carts full of stuff to use coupons on. i suppose i need more computers to print from, as the newspaper coupons up here rarely match up well, except sometimes during doubler weeks.
this thread is off topic now. sorry about that.

    Where are you located?

I ordered a large amount of coupons from Ebay for things that ended up being free or at most .09. They were all things that my mom and sister use but aren't inclinde to "work for" to get for free. I can turn around and sell the items to them for a nice profit that more than covers the cost of buying the coupons and they are getting the items for less than 50% of what they would normally pay so everyone wins.

Last Saturday was a mad dash to get to $4.00 off a gallon. I was at $3.70 but I didn't want to chance the cost going up so I wanted a buffer.

We do have 4 PC's in our household so that did help alot.

It's just me and my boyfriend so the amount of shopping I did over the last 6 weeks will mean a Tops trip once per week for a long time. lol I actually didn't want to step foot in a Tops this week but I couldn't resist the Heluva Cheese for $1.00 w/ IP or the Reddi Whip for .75 w/IP & Monopoly coupon. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I really did burn out on that place.

Yeah, only to my mom and sister, but it does cover the cost of buying coupons. :)

I do think we have different ads. I know some areas have posted deals that were not in my ad. That is always a bummer!
