Great stock of coupons!!

This is what I would do...

45 kool-aid packs (pay for)
10 dressings (5 free w/ coupon & 5 w/ b1g1 free sale)
2 cheese (sliced) (free w/ coupon)
2 hot dogs (free w/ coupon)
4 crystal light (4 w/ coupon)
1 $1 produce item (free with coupon)

buy 1 more kraft cheese thing (cream cheese may be cheapest?)

Then you are paying for the extra kraft cheese thing and the 45 packs of coolaid (big guestimate here - $10ish maybe total?)

You should get back $1 cheese catalina and $2 koolaid catalina.

OK - my brain hurts. someone let me know if I'm way off base!!!

Nice job working that out Mfaust! I'm not sure why I can't wrap my brain around this deal. I have 11 each of the hot dog ones, wheat thins, dressing, 10 of the crystal light, and 6 of the cheese singles. Any thoughts? ( bought a bunch of all you)

I hate using the cheese one at Tops though because it is so expensive. I think its $5.xx so I have to pay over $1 for it.

I foresee the trouble finding enough kool-aid packs in one order. I have a busy day planned on Friday, and really don't want to go running around!

I am guilty of stopping by Walmart too and buying 5 issues :) Dh asked why I have 5 of the same magazines when he came home from work, I just told him "you don't want to know" lol. He doesn't "get" this couponing stuff lol!

They had a seperate display back by the packaged cold cuts & hot dogs in my store. Appeared to be PLENTY.
I got the same ODD LOOK as my DH was helping put groceries away... WHY did you buy *3* of the same mags? My DD jumped in and said They have tons of coupons! ... Well, in my house, that's enough said! lol
Little does he know, I've bought 19 more already!

Just figured out, your better off buying 30 koolaid & 10 items.
b$6 = $2 comes to 13 cents each
b$10 = $3 = 14 cents each
b$14 = $4 = 14.25 cents each
Just a penny/per difference, but you'd think it would be the more you buy the cheaper it is!

Do several smaller transactions. This way too, you can stay under the radar. Buying 30 koolaids is KINDA normal, buying 70 ($14) sticks out a bit

I bought 51 of them this morning. I felt that that helped me make the most of both the Koolaid and cheese deal in one order.

Although, I don't think Tops is very happy with me. The poor cashier was all confused. Then he had to call the line manager over because I had too many coupons. She checked over everything really good, but I could tell she was not happy about the deal I was getting.

My total came to $175.74, pd 25.77, and got catalinas back for both the cheese and the koolaid.

My husband made a trip to Tops this morning. He got 16 bottles of dressing, two family-size boxes of Triscuits, a bag of carrots and 36 packets of Kool-Aid for $8.75. He also got a $3 cat. Unfortunately, I told him too many packets of Kool-Aid, but lesson learned!

KoolAid and Kraft catalinas are working perfectly. I do suggest doing 10 at a time - 30 KoolAid and 10 [whichever]. Less confusing & higher return.
If your doing the cheese, only do 5 of them with 5 of something else. Not thinking, I got 10 cheese & only got one $3 cat. Still got the $2 cat for the Koolaid too tho.
