i didnt think to freeze it! I actually used the best life yesterday on bread. it isnt bad. Mine was .17 at HT. With all the butter deals its good to know it can be frozen! When my brother and his wife lived here they used alot of butter and margarine! We dnt use it like them. If you do freeze and it ends up looking watery like a PP said, I would suggest you try whipping it again with an electric mixer. During times when I couldn't find a great deal on spread, I've made my own by blending butter, canola oil and water...so you can whip water into butter & oil - works great!

    Hi,

Since I make our own butter, (we have our own dairy cows), I cannot really tell you. :shrug7: However, check out the following info on www.baking911.com. This web site is great and helpful.

The link for specific butters, whipped spreads, fats, margarine, lard, etc. is below. I render our lard from our pigs and is it's great for pies, etc.

    Hope this info helps--

I will cross-reference on appropriate forums.

Here is where the pantry and freezer (as well as other info) for storing foods is located.

The forum where I posted my info is called "Getting Ahead & Building Wealth..."--sub-forum is called "Stockpiling Guides..." and thread are under "Storage Guides...". Hope this helps.
