Default Can I use a cookie sheet instead of wax paper?

I'm out of wax paper. And no good deals in sight for the next couple weeks at least... so I need a substitute.

I have a recipe involving Special K, semi sweet chocolate chips and peanut butter that DH wanted me to make. I usually drop it by the spoonful onto wax paper so it can set and cool. Could I do it on a cookie sheet instead?

    TIA!!

I would think that you could although it might stick. I would maybe refrigerate the drops of chocolate stuff to make sure they are really cold and pull off the cookie sheet better. Also if you have any of that Reynold's release foil that might work.

Don't have the release foil (just gobs of 20ft. regular Reynolds)... Refrigerating isn't a bad idea - I'm sure they'd taste the same after I got them off and let them sit out for a bit to warm back up. Sounds like a plan - and I'll post how it works Thank you!

    Parchment paper works, too.

I would grease the cookie sheet first, but then it should work.

I know its a tad late now, but if you have baking cups, those are good to use in a pinch.
