I have frozen meat with BBQ sauce on in it and it freezes fine. I don't know about the cream of chicken soup though. Is the final product creamy or more BBQ sauce based? Creamy things don't always freeze well but the BBQ sauce should freeze great.
My father is a hunter and we are given a ton of venison every year. DH hates roasts, and we usually get 3-4 roasts so I have a recipe I use for them:
OVEN BBQ SANDWICHES
1 (4 to 6 lb.) roast
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 1/4 c. bottled BBQ sauce
1 env. regular dry onion soup mix
Onion buns or kaiser rolls, toasted if desired
In roasting pan, cover meat with soups. Pour BBQ sauce over soup. Sprinkle dry soup over meat. Cover and bake roast in a 350 degree oven for about 2 hours or until tender enough to slice. Drain off fat and remove any bones.
Can I freeze the roast meat when I am done cooking it? I wanted to 4x the recipe this weekend and freeze it in bulk if the BBQ sauce was ok to freeze :shrug7:

My husband hunts also. I'd never had venison before he harvested a deer, so was worried about the flavor. We processed the deer ourselves and what we do is rinse the meat in water until the water runs clear (it starts out pink from the blood and then eventually turns clear). I taste very little difference between it and beef. Now the smell when I'm cooking it is another story! I've heard that soaking it in milk before you cook it takes out some of the wild taste as well. Hope that helps some! Oh! I've frozen things I've cooked with bbq sauce with no problems, but don't know about the cream soup.
