How do you freeze fresh strawberries?
I got a really good deal on strawberries at WM last night so I bought several ($1.27 per pound)
Anyway, I want to freeze some. How is the best way? I will, of course, clean them first but do I freeze on a cookie sheet and then bag together or can I just throw in bag and freeze?
Thanks in advance for advice!

I slice them up and put into a baggie with a little bit of sugar. Then use them for strawberry shortcake later in the year when they are not in season, or even for making jam!

After I clean them, I halve or quarter (depending on size) and freeze them in a layer on a cookie sheet, then transfer them to a plastic baggie or container.
