I just finished The Angels of Morgan Hill by Donna VanLiere and A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith. I am now starting on Such a Pretty Girl by Laura Wiess and will follow with The Best of Everything by Rona Jaffe. All were in Amazon's bargain book section and I had GCs to use.

Thank you Miacat. I went to the library and picked up "Thousand Splendid Suns" and "The Kite Runner". Both were EXCELLENT books. I'm loving this thread as I have run out of books to read at the library and love the ideas.

I just finished Beautiful Boy:A Father's Journey Through His Son's Addiction by David Sheff. I found it to be an excellent read on many levels.

This Common Secret by Susan Wicklund. Not a long book, but extremely informative and definitely a book everyone should read.

I'm reading The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. It was given to me by a very good friend. It is a very eye opening book.

Escape, by Carolyn Jessop.

BIG mistake, lol! It's like the American FLDS version of A Thousand Splendid Suns.

I can't wait for the postman to come and let me ditch it for The Revolution: A Manifesto.(by Ron Paul, $11.55 on Amazon right now!)

I'll read Escape later, right now I've had enough of that group.

ok, I'm impressed. The only thing I can manage to read right now is this stinking site. lol. But, when I am able to tear myself away, I've been writing fanfic for another site. Although, since I found couponing, I think my readers think I've died!
