She is a really good writer and comes highly recommend by me! Her books are based on her experience living and growing up in the Amish country in Lancaster, PA. I enjoy the books so much because I live about an hour from Lancaster and go there very often and she uses real landmarks, road names and such and it is neat to read about things like that!

I love her books!! Sometimes they are a little slow for me though and I am like "come on already! Let something happen!" lol I'm impatient!!

I just finished the Queen of Babble and can't wait till the Queen of Babble in the Big City comes in at the library. Now I will read my two magazines that came in while I was reading the book to hold me over.

I'm reading 2 books by Michael Ruhlman: "The Making of a Chef" and his latest book, "The Elements of Cooking".

The Making of a Chef is a non-fiction account of what it's like to be a student at the renowned Culinary Institute of America. I find it extremely riveting; in fact I like the book so much I know I'll be reading it again at some point.

The Elements of Cooking takes all the relevant information a chef must know and offers it up for the home cook. This book is teaching me A LOT!
