once you finish Wicked..get the sequel....Son of a Witch....but read Wicked first or you'll be totally lost! LOL

I"m currently reading Elton John's bio

I've also started the Elm Creek Quilts series, I just got book three from the library- Cross Country Quilters-Jennifer Chiaverini

I'd also recommend Jan Karon's Mitford series, Rescuing Sprite-don't recall the author but its at least one box of kleenex worthy, and Marley and Me

I just bought (in hardcover!!!) Rhett Butler's People...I'm saving that for a snow day LOL

I just finished Escape, by Carolyn Jessop, about a woman that ecaped polygamy her in UT, it was wonderful I couldnt put it down, read it in about 3 days.

"The dramatic first-person account of life inside an ultra-fundamentalist American religious sect, and one woman’s courageous flight to freedom with her eight children."

I am finishing up YOU The Owners Manual by Dr Mehmet Oz and Dr Michael Roizen and am about to start on their next YOU book. I'm totally addicted to reading/listening to Dr Oz lately. He's on Oprah quite frequently too. The things I'm learning about are really changing the items I would typically coupon. We are sure not buying/eating anything with High Fructose Corn Syrup or Hydrogenated Oils anymore! :)

I'm reading "Your Personality Tree" by Florence Littauer for the second time. The first time it helped me understand why I am the way I am (OCPD and such) I am reading it again after about 5 years to help me better understand my husband and father in law so I will not be as judgemental. It is helping, just not as much as I had hoped..

Wow...I've never heard of those books. I'll have to check that out. Her books are really true to life books but really are not "real life". Some are boring at the beginning but get really good about 1/4 way through. I just love her books! Enjoy!

Oh, I so love reading.

I highly recommend Diana Gabaldon's "Outlander" series. It is about a woman who travels 200 yrs into the past & falls in love. Very thick books (600 pgs plus). "Outlander" is the first book of the series.

I also love Alice Brennan, Mariah Stewart, Dinah Micall, Kay Hooper, Patricia Cornwell, Suzanne Brockman. If you ever need any suggestions on what to read, pm me & I can tell you. I read ALOT.

I just finished Jan Karon's latest book called "Home to Holly Springs" I love her books.

In the newsletter they talked about groups and I suggested a book group. I think it would be great to have a book club!

I recommend anything by Dean Koontz, but most especially "Watchers," "Lightning," and "Twilight Eyes."

Working my way through (nonfiction) the "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" series; I'd advise starting with the aforenamed first one.

Just finished Aron Ralston's (sp?) nonfiction experience, "Between a Rock and a Hard Place" (although I skimmed the ucky part).

Usually I have more fiction on the table, how bizarre...

Right now, I'm going for the superlight reading: I'm working my way through the Sweet Valley High series. :D I'm finishing one or two of 'em a day (they only take me about an hour to read, LOL).

Oh, yes, I'm about to start that new vampire series that seems to be all the rage among the teens, um, "Twilight." Can neither recommend or not, because I have yet to read it. My 17 yo SIL got it for me for Christmas, and I'm waiting for the 3rd book to get to me from the library.

I love Dean Koontz! Read pretty much everything he's written. I haven't read anything in a while. I may have to dig out some old favorites if I still have them and re-read.

I can't do the non-fiction thing. I just hate that kind of reading. I know I should but I can't do it. I need fun or really dramatic stuff to keep my interest. Just like I can't watch the Learning Channel!

I remember SVH! lol Who were the twins, Jessica and someone??

My dd who is turning 14 in 2 days read Twilight and another book in that series. She is really into it. She told me to read it but I haven't yet because I had just finished "The Historian" and didn't want to compare a more historical book about vampires with a lighter book.
