SMILE Questions that a 4 year old can ask..how to answer them?

On our drive home from preK a few days ago, my Julia (whom is a twin and will be 5 tommorrow) ask me something that threw me off somewhat for a minute.

"Mommy why does a pig wag its tail?" (of all things to ask and who knows why)

I did not have an answer right away. I told her that they wag it because they are happy like a dog does.

lol Than she says how do you know milkdud(our dog) wags her tell because she is happy? I then asked her well how do you know that milkdud is not happy when you want to play with her and she dont want to play with you? she says because she gives me a funny look and runs under your bed... that was all the question she had... I think she was testing me to see what I would say but I turned it around on her.

What is your funny questions and answers? who knows we may need the answer some day.

Cute but sad---"Mommy, why is that kitty sleeping in the middle of the road?"

"I don't know..." was all I could reply. Didn't have the heart to tell her the truth...

I work with kids and once I had a little boy who was 4 tell me " when I am trying to sleep i hear banging on the wall. So I go and tell my mommy and daddy and they tell me to go back to bed. It is just the monster". Then the little boy asked me Why do we have monster and how do you make them stop? I just said ask you mommy to talk to them. I told his mom that day when he was picked up. The look on her face. All she said was my bedroom is next to his.LOL

What....I'm the only one that uses the "daddy and I are wrestling, and I won" explanation?
Seriously, people need to be more careful not to traumatize their kids. I was just saying to dh last night, that I don't know how the Duggers managed to get pregnant 20 times..I don't wanna do it with one kid in the house...dh was not amused......
