So what was you take on this particular show?

I didn't watch it. I told dh he COULD NOT watch it. He says why?? I said because the more people watch it the more they will keep it going. So we didn't watch it :)

So what was you take on this particular show?

I've never watched any of the shows, don't need to. I see the train wreck it creates every day in the stores, I hear the frustrations of cashiers, the last thing I would do is support their "success" by watching it.

No plans on watching the show ever. I watched one episode of last season's during a rerun and the format bored me to death in addition to knowing the effects across the board.

I think the show would be 10x as boring if they followed me around. My savings range from 40-55% and I only buy maybe up to 3 of an item in a shopping trip. It'd be about a 3 hour show because I shop at two stores- one for name-brand items since it is coupon friendly, and the other for store brand items & produce. I'd also teach the people at home that when something is a good deal, that doesn't mean you should be the only one to take advantage of it... But no... where's the drama in that? I also don't have a great-wall-o'-stockpile. Most of my stuff is in cabinets, lol.

I watched, in protest, this episode, only because it was filmed in Erie, where I live. First, she atypically shops at Giant Eagle, however they refused to let her film there. Secondly, Bellos, where this was filmed, is a very small family store, and for her to find 200 boxes of pasta and 60 bags of salad there, on the shelves, was hugely staged. They barely have 40 pasta and 10 salad. Although, I was surprised to see that they now double their coupons, because they never did in the past. This must have happened when they got the new registers, because they always had the old old old ones! LOL
Choking this back, I am ok with this episode for only one reason, all the new couponers will go to Bellos, and not Giant Eagle, and leave my shelves alone! LOL!
