Extreme Couponing ~ Lowes Admits They Waived the Coupon Policy!

Well, bowl me over! I got a letter from the Director of Marketing from Lowe's Food today.

However, upon reading the letter, only the very first sentence and the very last sentence were different than what she was quoted as saying in the Charlotte Observer article about this mess as well as what was quoted and attributed to her in the Raleigh News & Observer article about the same.

So, it's the corporate canned response. If any of you have written, I'll predict now, this is what your letter will read:

This show is crazy!!!! I just watch so I can see how stupid they think us couponers are! Well we are not stupid and we know that this show is ruining couponing in a whole! A lot of cities are taking out coupons of there newspapers and even online coupon companies are feeling it. Why is there a show like this on the air!?

Did you guys see the episode they did in Lowes? I happened to catch about 10 minutes of it and O..........M...............G. I could just hear the theme song to the Dukes of Hazzard playing in my head. I half expected Flash the basset hound to run across the store.
