No one watched tonight? was everyone watching Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals?

Game's over, so I stayed up to watch at the 11:30 timeslot on TLC.

Not that it means anything but DH heard Scotty B talking on the radio station this morning....

I liked that he said on the show that he was a professional, that he wasn't going to hand over a coupon for anything that he didn't purchase. Too bad though that he, like so many others, bought more than 1 Similac with the limit 1 per transaction coupon.

on Jen, I LOVE LOVE LOVE that someone FINALLY mentioned the fact that overseas military families can use coupons up to 6 months past the expiration. I've been waiting all season for someone to mention that!!!!

her poor dh, getting sent over to the feminine product aisle and on national television ... he's never going to hear the end of that from his friends and coworkers. at least from all his unmarried friends and coworkers

I thought it was a good episode. The first half was my fav, considering I think a man who will use coupons is automatically raised on the hawtness scale. He has such a cute family.

Is it just me, or did this show have the shortest season EVER?

Is there a link to this one like the others? I missed last nights. The hubby sent me and my sister on a grocery run for "food he likes" basically a list full of junk food. I used to make sure i didnt miss any of the episodes but now its a hit or miss because it is like the same thing week after week.

I thought Scott was rude and arrogant when he commented about how he is a "professional." The cashier is not going to take your word for it that each and every coupon you are using is correct. She is just doing her job. So let her do it without getting snippy. Is it her fault they wouldn't scan? No.

I also took offense at the tone he used when he said "of course" when the cashier asked if he had coupons. He just has an air of thinking he's better than other people. It reminded me of the time I was a cashier in a supermarket and some guy called me a lowlife for working there. Simply because I attempted to scan a drink that he had put on the counter which apparently he had gotten at another store.

I have never been called a name when i have been a cashier at a store. Ive worked at both wags and cvs before. And i too have been guilty of trying to scan a drink that was purchased at another store. But i always make it a point now if i bring one in i tell them before they start ringing my stuff up. The nicer you are the better your transaction. WHen people would be rude to me ijust finished up and handed their change. They didnt get the usual have a good day from me. But a huge cheerful smile! haha.

I just watched the episode... I didn't think Scott was rude to the cashier at all. I understand the frustration with the internet printables... my grocery store has issues scanning the ones with two bar codes as well.

He was a little hard on his wife though... saying she's normally "forbidden" from going shopping with him (except this time... because he needs her to push a cart). But again, I kind of understand. I use an excel spreadsheet to plan every single grocery trip down to the penny, and it's a little frustrating when my boyfriend grabs full-priced items and it completely throws off my total.

I also liked the first mention of expired coupons for overseas military. And I loved that her grocery store offers a discount for military personell :) Also, it was nice to see someone NOT dumpster diving or ordering hundreds of dollars of coupons from a clipping service - Jen gets her coupons what I consider the "old fashioned" way, from friends and relatives that don't use theirs. That's how my mom has always gotten hers; members of our church, her brothers and sisters, and her friends all bring her coupons that they aren't going to use. In return she shares her coupon-acquired goods with them.
