I'll start the discussion, and it hasn't even aired yet!

I'm Kelly.


And I'm an open book. I don't post much here but I visit regularly, and I link here often from my own website. I'd love to be more involved on the forums but I stay so busy that I just check in on the buzz, so I'm sorry if I'm a bit of a stranger to most of you.

Anyhow, I can't wait to see how the episode turns out and what clips they use from our 26 hours of filming! It was soooooo much fun to do, and I'll be happy to answer any questions.

Wow... I'm finding that I'm more nervous now than when they filmed! Hope everyone enjoys the show. :)

Wow! 26 hours for one episode?

I do watch this show but now I seem to watch each episode (and even the reruns) very carefully. I want to see if they are violating anything. My daughter and I are trying very hard to save as much money as we can and so far our best haul has only given us close to half off. That won't happen again for a long time I fear because it was coupons for a local store that they sent me in the mail and many were for free items. We are also to the point of running out of room to put the food. Yes, I can put more non-perishables in the garage. I have very few cupboards in the kitchen and really have room for only maybe 2 to 6 cans of each thing. Obviously the things we eat more frequently get more in the cupboard.

Right now I actually have coupons for fresh meat and eggs or produce if I buy bacon. But I need neither bacon or eggs at the moment. I have no freezer space for the meat and no opportunity this week to cook any meat. We have a busy week and that means salads and sandwiches for dinner most of the time and dining out the other times.

I just wish I could be like the people on the show, but I can't ever seem to do that well.

Hi Kelly! Great job shopping! I can't believe you got all those goodies for free! I was wondering though, what kind of shopping list did you use? How did you create it? I would love to be able to use a virtual spreadsheet as well. Please help :)

Hi Kelly! I'm looking forward to tonight's show - I actually get to watch it when it first airs! (9:30 pm here on the West Coast) I'll also have to check out your own website, although how on Earth you find the time to extreme coupon and run a website, boggles my mind! Good Luck tonight!

P.S. How intrusive was it living with a film crew for 26 hours?
