I don't like the commercials either.....
I really don't care for the new ads. Have you seen them. I decided I would write Jell-o to give my opinion. Well, it appears that many others feel the same as they have an automated question response already. What to do you think? The following is not my question or response but one someone else or the company came up with.
Here it is:
I'm so offended by these ads for Temptations by Jell-O. I want them to be taken off the air
Q:
I take offense to the situations you are putting children into in your commercials for Temptations by Jell-O. How can you make light of locking children in attics, dumping them at train stations or scaring them into thinking they will lose all their favorite things?
A:
That was not our intention. The campaign depicts dramatized situations in which kids imagine the consequences for sneaking their parents' TEMPTATIONS by JELL-O. Our new TEMPTATIONS by JELL-O advertising is an exaggerated depiction that builds on our consumer insight of parents looking for their own rewards, and that they often keep a 'secret stash' of indulgent treats for themselves. This became the inspiration behind our advertising for this new JELL-O product that is just for adults.
I don't like the commercials either.....
I think they are dumb too.
I think they are hilarious. I'm constantly trying to hide my secret stash from my kids. And you better believe I torment them when they steal 'my' food. I think the commercials are all in good fun and honestly a lot more family friendly than most.
ugh its just a commerical. I have a remote for turning the channel.
I think the commericals are cute especially the camping one with the chocobeast!

I think that's probably why kids are so emotionally fragile these days. It's not like when I was a kid and adults would scare the crap out of us just for kicks and grins. It built character and made us stronger.
Kidding. I think those commercials are stupid, too, but I'm not offended.

How about this one? My dad would have totally done something like this:

Oh, I thought I was the only one who was not happy with them. Everytime I see the camping one, I get upset that those parents would do that to their children. I have the maternal instinct to provide first to my child. Reminds me of the lady that lived across from my sister. She's buy all sort of yummy snacks and her and her husband would eat them after the children went to bed. It would be ok to do that but her children never got yummy snacks. At Halloween she gave the kids one single M&M - not a little pack but one little single piece of candy and she ate the rest ..... and when they had a bbq, one of the little boys said he liked the way one of the hot dogs looked and asked his mom who was doing the grilling if he could have that one. She replied, "Nope. That one's for me." Her children loved steak - they had it at my sisters. Her and her husband would sit down to steak dinners and give the kids TV dinners or PB&J sandwiches all of the time. Same lady also declared without hesitation that if she was in a boat and it was sinking and she could only save one person she would save her husband over her child. How could you even pick that one.
WOW!! Lighten up!! Kids need to learn. Kids are soooo coddled theses days. You know what, sometimes in life you don't always get what you want, sometimes its not always fair. The sooner kids learn this the better they will be able to handle the real world!!
I think the "chocobeast" commercial is HILARIUOS!! I also think it was all in good fun.
So not everyone likes it. That is your right but just change the channel. Not everyone likes the same things. That is fine. That is diversity.
