I think the "chocobeast" commercial is HILARIUOS!! I also think it was all in good fun.

So not everyone likes it. That is your right but just change the channel. Not everyone likes the same things. That is fine. That is diversity.
Just curious if you have children?

Fine, but the point of the commercial is that they bought the pudding for the kids not themselves. I guess it would be ok to sneak in and take the 1.00 out from underneath the kids pillow that the tooth fairy left because you just realized you decided you wanted to stop at McDonalds for a coffee in the morning and you just gave away the last dollar you had.

First off the slogan for the Jello Temptations is Jello for ADULTS!!!! Not children. They bought it for THEMSELVES not their children. And my kids don't believe in that fairy nonsense. They come and say mom I lost a tooth can I have my dollar. And yes if it was my last dollar and I wanted a small fry (Cause coffee is nasty) I would keep it and give them their dollar later.

I have only seen the camping one and really it does not bother me. I have a bag of Hershey's Bliss stashed away in a far off Kitchen Cupboard that is all mine. That does not mean that my kids are deprived of chocolate or treats. They have their own treats that they get occasionally (Betty Crocker fruit flavored no real fruit in them might as call them candy Fruit Snacks).

I respect others opinions though and if you don't like it I think it is fine to email the company and let them know. Majority rules I would bet in the marketing department.

And the Walmart video Smee posted...totally funny! My dad would have done something like that too. My husband would do something like that to our kids. Heck maybe even I would...now where is my air horn?

    Haha! I love those commercials!

I have a 3 year old daughter and a son on the way and I would totally do that to them!! When they are older of course!
My parents did the same to us and my husbands parents did the same to him. It's kind of a right of passage in the household to be tortured by your parents. It's always all in good fun.

I thought the camping one was cute and had no issue with it. It was the one in the kitchen at the fridge that I didn't like. I would not go as far to "not ever purchase the product because of the commercial" though. I was surprised to see that as one of the comments to click on at the website.

I have 2 children. A 15 and 12 year old. As parents we often pull pranks and "torment" them. All in good fun. We are not mean. I have actually heard my children tell there friends" don't worry my parents are kinda fun"
As they are older now and as big as me and bigger, sometimes it is them pulling the pranks and "tormenting" us. And I love it! I love that my children have been raised knowing that sometimes it's ok to relax and have a lil fun.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, I was just giving mine.
I believe if you give children "everything" they never learn how to earn anything. In the real world there are some things that only certain people can get. That is life and (I believe) children who are taught the tuth of life and not just given everything will fare much better in adulthod.
Want to hear what a mean parent am? I have a stockpile of gum and candy. If my kids want gum they have to pay for it with the money they earned doing chores. If they want a candybar they have to ask me nicely and then leave the area (usually I make them go pick something up or clean something) while I go retrieve it. They know some things are just for me. Because I worked and earned it. I am trying to teach them the same values.
