Who hates the Tv show " EXTREME COUPONING"

Too me that show is so unreal it never happens like this me and my mother have always couponed and not once have u had managers clap and get all excited and honestly i believe it is ruining it for everyone now. I was at kroger today and had like 30 coupons on my whole purchase and the lady behind me pointed out that i may go return all my items and get full price back on them . That is insane and its because of this awful show .... I hate it and want it gone. Only once have i actually saved hundreds in one transaction normally i save 75 to 80 percent because of coupons but now over 1000

I can't say that I am overly thrilled with the show and yet I am compelled to watch it. I do believe it is unrealistic and after the admitted fraud by that one woman, I tend to wonder how many of the others are committing fraud as well.

Recently my daughter and I went to QFC to pick up a few things. The man in front of us had a cart that was pretty much full of cans of Nalley (a local brand) chili. They were not all the same flavor/type so it took a while to ring them all up. Then he whipped out this huge stack of coupons! It took the clerk what seemed like 10 minutes to ring up all the coupons.

So my daughter and I made some comments under our breath but we were certainly not whooping and hollering over his savings. In fact I don't even know how much he paid for them. But my daughter said he was either an extreme couponer or a hoarder or both.

it seems if i have 30 coupons it takes walmart that long to ring them up. Grocery stores go MUCH quicker!i bought 27 febreze to gos cause they were free over paying for the large triggers. I dont care what people think-- but i cant blame the guy for stocking up if it was a good deal for him. the show i think isnt all bad, but it is constantly brought up at stores when i am there, and i have never filled a cart, ive never filled half a cart on things i am only buying with coupons. it has given a stigma and now most places are thinking someone with coupons is going to try to pull some fast ones-- THAT sucks

I think that show is all farce ....and sadly enough it tells People to cheat ! I tried watching this Show 2 times and it pissed me off badly so I changed the channel. I wont watch this show....


I think it really has / will a impact on the Stores on how they accept and handle Coupons.

I hate what the show has done to "normal" every day couponers. Seems like in the last few weeks, the newspapers are being sold out quicker, the stock is gone, and the new breed of couponers are very rude and obnoxious.

Used to be I'd go into a store with my binder and see another couponer or two, we'd nod and smile at each other and go on our way, now the stores are filled with people with their little binders, running here and there grabing the "deal" pushing people out of the way, reaching around them and grabbing the items being looked at by another shopper. (Usually someone who isn't couponing).

Then there are the comments from others now. Look it's one of those "extreme" couponers. No.....I'm not. I don't see the need to purchase 100 of anything, deal or not. It will be on sale again with a coupon in a few weeks. I don't need to stockpile 50 toothpastes just because they are free.

And, I'm sure I'm not going to win any popularity points, but you don't need a whole bunch of stuff, so you can make yourself feel good by donating it. The donation places love you if you bring in 1 bag or 100. How about you donate differently by leaving your extra coupons on the product, so the people behind you can score the deal too? Not everyone will go to a food bank for help, for whatever reason, but they may pick up that product that was free with a coupon and then decide to start couponing themselves. The whole teach a man to fish analogy.

I could go on, but people will do, what people will do. I'll just continue to score the deals that I can, and the ones that pass me by, I'll pick up the next time they are on sale. I'm saving money and that is the most important thing for my family right now, so I'll keep plugging along getting what I can. Tomorrow is another day.

I don't want other to think i do fraud stuff or that i may look crazy or a hoarder. If the showed more for others to learn how to coupon i would be more interested in it.

I hate the show. I can't stand someone using coupons fraudulently. Then have the nerve to be proud of themselves. Yes everyone would do a great job too if they could use whatever coupon they want on what they want but that is not the way it works. I wish they would do something to the ones that are breaking the laws. It makes it so much harder for the rest of us honest couponers.

The show pisses me off. I cant watch it because I scream at the TV. I think it gives us all a bad name. people are going to think "oh they are those kind of people" because of a stupid show.

I ask because I wonder how they found the ones that have been shown so far. I figured they had contacted the show to be on it, not the other way around.
