I have had night class so I haven't been watching. But I just can't imagine watching with no Simon!

My observation is the remix is the kinder gentler version. The initial cattle auditions are my favorite part, followed by Hollywood week. I start losing interest by the time they are whittling down the final forty. Still worth watching those parts each season though.

It's fun to find the diamonds among the coal.

I do miss the creative insults, even though I would not want to be on the receiving end.

I'm watching. It's kinda boring without Simon. I also notice that they never really so too many of the good performers. I'm interested in seeing the people that can really sang!

I am (was) watching it. Kinda boring. It is (was) on right now and DH just switched the channel. So, let's hope the season gets better.

WOw, I'm shocked at these responses. I also thought I'd probably hate AI without Simon. Woah, was I wrong. This may end up being my favorite season. IMO ....it seems there is more talent and they are showing less of the silly stuff (which I hate and thought many times was actually cruel). I absolutely LUV Steven Tyler on there, you never know what will come out of his mouth or how he will act. He is so unpredictable. So far I have found this season so entertaining that I forgot that Simon was gone, and I thought he made the show and I'd hate it once he left. Surprisingly, I really think I am gonna end up liking it better now. Waiting til the end to be sure, although I will throw out that I believe there will be more success stories from this season than any of the past seasons. If you missed tonight try to catch it on the internet, tonights episode may change your mind.

I am watching so far. I have only watched a handful of seasons, and I am really liking it better. I don't miss Simon at all. Steve Tyler is HILARIOUS and J Lo is fun to watch, too. It's not boring to me. I like the kinder, gentler judges. It isn't necessary to be nasty. It is funny when somebody who can't carry a tune in a bucket things they are ALL THAT.

I thought they were pretty mean to that guy who sang GaGa last week. He really wasn't that bad, if you closed your eyes and didn't watch his CRAZY expressions. The way they were singing and dancing with him, I thought they were going to say yes for a minute.

I've watched parts of it on two seperate nights, now, and i think there is chemistry missing between the judges. Not like romantic chemistry, just interaction that is interesting, maybe energy. So, i do find it not as much fun as when it was randy, paula, and simon. The three of them meshed well and had fun. It seems more staged this year to me. All that said, I will still prolly watch it ;)
