I was really expecting one of the girls to go home, probably Haley. The judges were too mean to her though and last night wasn't the first time. She sang well, they picked on her song choice and it got her sympathy votes and probably made her fans vote twice as much to save her.

I think James could have won it all. But, I didn't vote at all last night. I liked them all pretty equally and just couldn't decide who I wanted to stay or go. I never imagined it would be James, though.

I have never liked Lauren and I think she got the spot that rightfully belonged to James. I was not happy about him leaving. Although I don't really like Haley much either, I like her better than Lauen. I just don't like Lauren's personality........I can't put my finger on it, but there's just something I don't like.

Haley has knocked my socks off the past two weeks, and James has knocked it out of the park every week. I was really hoping it would come down to those 2, but now I am for Haley all the way. I think Scotty and Lauren both sing great, so if one of them wins I don't guess I will die or anything, but Haley has become my personal fave and I can not believe they sent James home last night. As was the case with Chris Daughtry, it's their loss.

OH I wish I would have found this earlier. I would have loved to chatted with you guys all along.
I was James #1 fan. So shocked when he was eliminated. He was eliminated in the same spot as Daughtry and look where he's at now. I kinda feel that James lucked out by not having to be chained to an American Idol contract for a year but I would have loved to seen him at least in the top 3 to see his big homecoming.
So glad that Haley got eliminated. She thought she was the best thing since sliced bread. I hated that growling and munchkin voice. Like nails on a chalkboard. The only reason she stayed on so long is because she was Casey's girlfriend. When he got eliminated, his votes went to her IMO.

@shashabell....Yes, it was awful seeing James sent home. I think he should have gone up against Haley (who IS the greatest thing since sliced bread!) in the finals.

Well, glad Scotty won! Not my type of music, but that kid will be popular!

Loved the song with Judas Priest and James. The Gospel song with the guy that worked in the spa, forgot his name, did not do justice to his voice.

Did anyone notice the two new judges performed, JLo and Steven tyler.

Did anyone notice Steven sang great and he's way past his popular time/prime and

JLo just danced, why you ask, because she cannot sing!!!!! I was noticing during the tryouts, Steven Tyler sang a lot with the contestants, she Never did!

Loved how Lauren was such a gracious looser. Haley needs to take notes. LOL

I was appauled by the performances by Lady Gaga and Beyonce. They were highly innapropriate for such a young viewing audience. Disgusting.

I loved seeing James again. He's my favorite.

I could have done without seeing that crazy looking Naima again and Jacob, Karen, and Ashton.

Being a native of Garner, I'm glad Scotty won once James Durbin was eliminated. James has a vocal range that can embrace many music genres and he displayed strength & humility in sharing his tormenting struggle with Tourette's with the world. He was also striving to better his family's life, not just become "popular". Hopefully, blessings will come along James' way.

Scotty and Lauren have been honorable contestants. I loved how Lauren always looked so stylish, yet was so moderately dressed. I got so tired of Steven Tyler oogling over Hayley, I wish A.I. would have dressed her more like Lauren.
