He can get by a bit solely by bartering but there will be challenges (most dr and dentists do not accept Dawn for payment).

Groupons aren't like regular coupons, they are usually like 20% off at a gourmet bakery... I imagine he will have to barter for everything, nothing will be free with coupon.

Not to hijack, but that's untrue. I live in Central IL and we have Schnucks, Kroger, & Meijer - all of whom double coupons.

From what I have read elsewhere the guy has been given hotel vouchers and food vouchers and unlimited "groupons" with which to trade for anything else he may want.

I mean really, I could live a year with free hotel rooms and free food with literally nothing else. (except prescriptions and I highly doubt with all the other leniencies they can force this guy to barter for medicine or doctor visits.)
