DH and I love horror movies. Full of blood & guts or psychological thrillers--we'll watch almost anything if it sounds good. But I'm running out of ideas for movies to get on Netflix. Sometimes it's hard to choose them because the reviews are often so mixed. You really can't tell whether a movie is worth watching or not.
Any recommendations for some good movies? What movies scared you? Any that left you scarred for life?

My DH loves these movies! I like the old ones myself. Friday the 13th, Nightmare On Elm Street, Phantasm, Sleepaway Camp, Halloween and a ton more. I love when AMC has the scariest movie downcount every year. I watched one on Sci-Fci a while back called Rest Stop. It was weird but good!
I had sanity once upon a time I promise. It was just so long agoooo that I can't remember it
.
If you like Saw type movies The Collector 2009 was good and very gross :)
If it isn't free.....it isn't for me!
Netflix streaming has a Norwegian zombie movie called Dead Snow - it does have subtitles (I mention this b/c I don't care for them at all - LOL) but it's super scary and gory as all get out!

Thanks for the suggestions! :)
THe new Saw movie is pretty hardcore. I usually don't get queezy. I had to walk away a few times.
Final Destination is one of my FAVRIOTE gore movies! (either 1 2 or 3) (#4 stunk!)
Umm.. Red Asphault is an intresting one. But i think thats more educational then anything.
Faces Of Death... never seen it, don't want to see it. DH says its REALLY bad...
Great thread - I love all the old movies but I normally put all the new horror movies in my Netflix Queue but lately the ones I have been getting are horrible. Don't rent Dead Noon - that movie made me sick at my stomach with all the camera jumping around through the whole thing.
I did watch one on Chiller last night called Banshee!! that was pretty good.
