I positively can NOT sleep with socks on... or in a 'tucked in' bed! Seriously, if the bed is made or the sheets or covers are tucked in around me I freak out ridiculously.

I also wear sandals all year long. I'm pretty convinced that if I just deny that it is indeed cold outside, that it will be warm if I wear my sandals. :D

Let's see... there are so many lol!

BTW - I don't get sick, a cold, or anything from doing this...

I do the SAME thing! I don't own a hair drier, and I'm sure that the number of times I've had my hair dried can be counted on one hand. (My friends wedding, twice at a salon and I'm sure a few times as a kid). My boss thinks I'm NUTS, especially living in the North East, but it doesn't bother me.

Another 'quirky' thing that I do is eat bologna, cheese and ketchup sandwiches. Sounds nasty - tastes delightful! Anyone else eat something 'gross' that is yummy?

I can't sleep with socks on, no pj pants, can't stand the way they ride up on me at night! I do sometimes stick my feet out of the covers, in fact since I had a really bad sprain most of the time I have to have a foot hanging off the bed.

My worst quirk is that I can't have food touching. I eat things one at a time, eating the food that gets cold the fastest. Green veggies first always, then whatever I deem to get cold quicker. Everyone at work knows about it and likes to watch me at holiday brunches to see how I manage a plate full of food.

How cute that you can't have your food touching! My DH always mixes Thanksgiving food together, but other foods have to be separate.
Where did you ever come up with the idea of eating the food that you deem coldest the first?

I always put a 15 oz can of Pumpkin in a Betty Crocker Chocolate or Spice Cake,
instead of 3 eggs and the 1/3 cup of oil.
It saves 1,000 calories , and tastes just the same, you can't taste the Pumpkin.

Sounds different but familiar to me, lol... I don't like my food to touch either! I usually order things "on the side" at restaurants, which drives my dh crazy! I also have an order to how I eat. First, I taste everything. Then, if there is anything I don't care for, it gets neglected. I will mix certain foods together, one bite at a time though.

It used to really hurt my feelings if dh mixed his food on his plate. I would think... "you just ruined it!!" I guess I've learned not to take it so personally anymore, although it still bothers me some, to be honest.

My moms best friend mixes every item on her plate together into one big mess and then eats it. Blech It doesnt matter whats on there she eats it mixed up.

Things I like mixed together are mashed potatoes, gravy, corn or mashed potatoes and meatloaf. Ill mix my broccolli in with pasta/sauce or a baked potato. And I will ussually put bbq sauce or something on my fish and mix it with whatever vegetable Im eating with it. Im not a big fish fan so it kills the taste.

Ohhh and if I get fried fish like Capt ds ect I have to have it with ketchup. DH always said I was weird but we were watching a thing on the food channel and it said ketchup was originally a fish sauce!

Oh I hate Captain D's. That's the last place I would get fish....Catfish (purchased at a real seafood place) is my all time favorite thing to eat with ketchup and hot sauce.

One thing that I do is when I'm eating no matter what it is, is I gotta keep my right hand clean I can't stand it if it gets the slightest bit of food on it Can you imagine my dirty RIGHT hand touching my fork, my spoon, of my Lord my Glass...ewwww I think the world will come to an end if that ever happens ...and I must have a napkin w/ whatever I eat...even if I'm just getting something to drink.

Funny thread...I hate dirt on my hands period, right or left. I love to garden and cannot wear gloves so of course my hands get dirty, so I come in about every 10 min. to wash them. It litterally grosses me out to have dirty hands.

One of my quirks...I eat biscuits and gravy with sugar on it. I thought everyone did this until I met my husband who thought it was gross. Until that is I got him to try it and now he cannot imagine eating it without a little sprinkle of sugar on the top.
