Nope- i hate cleaning and my house is always "lived in" If i have people comming over, i'll do a bit of extra cleaning but heck i live in this place... and i am by no means a neat freak LOL

Yesterday while at the store deciding on what to make for Dinner, i told DH we should get some "jo jo's" (a very large potato wedge breaded and deep fried usually get them in the deli w/ fried chicken)

He looked at me like i was crazy...

He had never heard the term Jo Jo guess it's a northern Ohio thing

Another thing is i always wear sandals all year round. Everyone always comments "aren't your feet cold?" "Are you normal?"

Nope :-D im not!

I am in the south and have never heard of Jo Jo's...but anything potato is YUMMY to me...LOL

When I was a kid my dad made us Fried Potato Sandwiches. Pan fry slices of potato, toast the bread, add mayo and salt and pepper and you have a fabulous sandwich. It was even a favorite for my friends. LOL

One thing I ALWAYS do, no matter what the temp is outside, is I will leave the house with a wet head. I don't blow dry my hair. I don't have time is the excuse, but really I just don't care to blow dry it. Do you do this?

BTW - I don't get sick, a cold, or anything from doing this...

If it's a hot day I don't blow dry my hair, but if it's cold I do just to warm up.

I can relate to the bed making, lol. It doesn't have to be completely made up for me to sleep in it but it does have to be straighened well before I climb in.

Okay here's mine that dh thought was really weird at first but now he's been converted, lol. I have a toothbrush in the shower as well as at the sink and I brush my teeth in the shower. I figure that I'm washing everything else, might as well get the teeth done at the same time!

When I lived alone, I kept a toothbrush and toothpaste in the shower. I was always running late in the mornings, and it was a big help. My son (30) does it too. I never knew he did it until he stayed with us for a few months.

I can sleep with blankets on my feet, but I can't sleep with socks on!! It's a claustrophobic thing, I think.

I always blow dry my hair. I'm OCD about it! I take a shower and towel dry it...then wait about 30 minutes before I finish drying it with a blow dryer. I did it this way when it was long...and I still do it now, even though it's only a couple of inches long!!

Oh...and I totally agree with Shelly. I can't leave my house if it's a mess! Heck, I can't relax IN it if it's a mess! I can't stand clutter or dust! Again...OCD!

When I get a drink of water from the faucet, I have to let the water run until it's cold...fill up the glass...EMPTY the glass...then fill it again before I drink it. And I have no idea why!!! But I can't watch someone get a glass of water without doing this routine!

I have to do that too if I get a drink of water from the faucet. My Dad always did that. Why? No idea. I can't drink water from the bathroom faucet. For some reason it seems dirty. I know, I know, it is from the same pipes!

Growing up in Indiana I grew up calling a Green Bell Pepper a Mango. Now that I live in South Texas I know the difference. When I first married (27 years ago) I told my DH to stop at the store to get a mango that I needed for dinner. He brought me a MANGO - of course, I did not know what it was....LOL

Cantalope ... we called them musk melons

We keep toothbrushes in the shower and at the sink. My husband taught me this. Well, why not they were FREE at Walmart, lol
I can't sleep with socks on either. I do that with water too but I do that with all the cups. When my husband wants a drink I rerinse the cup a few times, look in it and then fill it up. If he wants a refill I rerinse it again before filling it up. My coupons aren't the best organized because I spend all my time worrying about the little things, lol I also dust my furniture several times a week and spot check every day lately. I hate cleaning but I hate clutter and dirt even more. I get nervous visiting other people's houses because everyone I know keeps theirs filthy, lol I know it shouldn't bother me but I can't wait to get home. My husband likes things clean too so he doesn't think I am weird, he appreciates me cleaning and keeping things in order. He just doesn't get me "working" for the stores for FREE. I pick up things off the floors so the elderly don't fall on the stuff, rearrange the shelves, pick up trash, etc. I HAVE to do it. I can't deal with it any other way. I am working on it but it is hard. I also hardly ever dry my hair. I have curly/wavy hair and it poof really big if I dry it, lol

I've been leaving home with a wet head since 1989 and don't get sick from it. I feel like I haven't "started" my day if my hair isn't wet when I leave.

One thing I always do is put the toilet paper roll going over. Even if I am at someones house or Dr office, etc, I ALWAYS switch it. :shrug7:

Yes, I leave the house with a wet head, have never blow-dried my hair, toilet paper goes over the top.
(I am going to start keeping a toothbrush in the shower-like that idea
