Oprah HIV show, thoughts?

I don't see why the guy is in jail? I missed the beginning, but it seems it's the womens' fault for not using protection? Please enlighten me?

I didn't see that episode but remember hearing and reading about it. It seems the man KNEW he was HIV positive and did not inform any of the women he was sleeping with which is federal law. Although the women do have some responsibility for not using condoms, it was the man who was ultimately in the wrong. All of these women also thought they were in a committed, monogamous relationship. He told one woman to her face he tested negative just minutes after receiving a positive test result. He knowingy and willingly infected these women... IMO he committed attempted murder at the least.

I agree!!! He shouldn't ever be let out. He'll do it again.

Oh, thanks for clarifying, I had no idea that was a federal law to inform partners if you have HIV????
