I have to admit, I live in Houston and I am so cheap I would not pay to go to the movies. Well this movie was on TNT today so I watched it! FREE lol

Wow! This show really speaks to the economy today!!!! Ok so these folks live a bit above their means, but most here can relate! What caught me was at the end! The main actors at the end see that is is bascially another Sarbanes-Oxley I gotta say I totally relate!!!!!(for those of your scratching your head, just google s-o term and you will see for yourself that Houstan HATES Enron and ALL the higher ups of Enron. I personally had friends that lost their job due to the rip offs of enron!

So I just gotta say, here here to Hollywood! This is ONE movie I wish I saw in the theaters!!!!! Hollywood FINALLY got it right! This show really displayed live for the American people. Ok, so I admit, I don't have a pool or a hot tub, BUT the main message stands in this movie! OK so this movie goes one click too far to show the main actor driving a bmw, whick I don't, but it shows, the middle man is being held down!
For anyone that has not seen this flick, check on you tube, you might be able to get it free and the message is still the same!
I don't agree with stealing, but this movie really brings to light the plight of the middle class Americans today!

I can't speak to the message, because I remember very little about this movie. I DO remember seeing it shortly after it came out as a rental, and I DO remember thinking it was one of the worse movies I had ever seen. Hooray for movies on TV, though! lol

Yeah I thought the movie was one of Jim Carey's worst. But then I really like Carey as more of a dramatic actor than a comedic one. "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and "Truman" are my faves. But I agree, who can afford to go to the movies anymore?

I adore this movie! I've probably watched it 5 times. Love Jim Carrey and Tina Leona.
Great laughs and memorable moments. I love the credits at the end. It's not just Enron but Worldcom and other companies that get bashed.

Is it a drama then? I can't stand Jim Carey comedy. I wouldn't mind seeing him in a drama though.

can't believe you just saw this movie...they play it on tv all the time!

i only know this b/c dh is always watching it and i gripe about how i don't like it and want to watch something else.

I don't remember much about this movie either. I do remember thinking it was a rather horrid movie though.
