I admit i am a closet twilight freak!!!!!

Ok, I watched the first movie over Easter break and was intrigued enough to read the book......................dang Stephanie Meyer!!!!!!!!!!!

I was on a cruise, waiting in lines and was mesmorized by Book 1!
So much so that even though, I had book 2 sitting at home waiting for me, I PAID FULL PRICE FOR BOOK 2 AT THE AIRPORT just to pass the 5 hours until I would be home.
Keep in mind, I am someone that would make dh wait a week for MEAT if it is NOT on sale, and I paid AIRPORT prices for a BOOK!!!!!!!!!

I cannot say this is the greatest book ever written, but it was definitely one that kept me WANTING to read it!
I don't get much time to read between working a full time away from home job, blogging, and being a mommy, but without GETTING PAID, I have to say, I LOVE this series.

Ok, I will admit, I love the story of Romeo and Juliet! Iambic pentameter SUCKS btw! I KNOW Twilight is R&J, BUT w/o this annoying IP!(sorry math major here)
So anyway, easy read for most, GREAT story for those that like a love story!
And that is all I have to say about that!

I was the same way!! Hubby and I watched the movie and were surprised it was so good. We had to go out of town suddenly because of a sick family member, and I finished my current book halfway through the eight hour ride. So, once we got to our destination, I bought Twilight (this was Wednesday). I was immediately hooked and took it EVERYWHERE. I finished it Friday night and went out and bought New Moon. I finished that on the car ride home on Saturday and bought Eclipse and Breaking Dawn once we got home. I had to work the next week, but managed to finish them both by Saturday. When I closed the cover after finishing the last book, it was like waking up from a dream. I was like "what just happened?" I have a hard time explaining it. I have read much better books, but there was just something about this series that was captivating to me.

I've reread the series more times that I can count, except for Breaking Dawn. I've read it 4 times. Its not that I don't like it, its just soooo drawn out and totally not what I expected!
I can't wait for the New Moon movie. Everything I've seen so far, looks really good. Even Jake's transformation.

I love Twilight too. My stepdaughter read all the books and I thought it wasn't something I'd get into. Then I saw the movie and was curious. My sister gave me the books and I'm reading Eclipse now. Love them!

I'm with ya! And I totally kwym about paying full price for the books! I'm about to re-read the series..."revamp" if you will I have a "Twilight Mom" decal on my van and the shirt. My poor kids

My sister bought the 1st 3 books. She gave me Twilight to read while she was reading New Moon. It took all of 1 day to read Twilight and I was bugging her...are you finished yet...are you finished yet. At the time, Eclipse had just come out, so I had to wait til she bought it (which wasn't until almost December), so I kept rereading the first two til she was finished. When Breaking Dawn came out, I preordered it and made her wait! I read it twice, because the 1st time I flew threw it that I couldn't belive what I just read, so I took my time on the second read.

This is the only series where I can pick any book up, open it to any page and start reading. We have the Harry Potter series and I'm struggling to get through Half Blood Prince! I wanted to brush up before I see the movie!

I wish I could agree with you all about the movie... sadly I wasnt impressed with it. I mean I liked it well enough but it just left me feeling like it was quite good enough or something.. I havent read the books and I likely wont but I was let down by the movie after I saw all the hype on it. :shrug7:
