I wish I could agree with you all about the movie... sadly I wasnt impressed with it. I mean I liked it well enough but it just left me feeling like it was quite good enough or something.. I havent read the books and I likely wont but I was let down by the movie after I saw all the hype on it. :shrug7:

Oh god, the movie is HORRIBLE compared to the books! Yes I watch the movie, but just to get the physical "picture" in my head of the cast/homes, etc. But the plot of the movie is pretty much nothing like the books. There is a reason the books are so popular....you HAVE to trust me that the books are AWESOME!!

I love Twilight too! I got all 4 books for Christmas. My dh and I drove to Key West from Atlanta for New Years, and I took 3 of them with us, never thinking I would read all of them. I finished all 3 before we even left to come home. I was antsy the whole way home because I couldn't wait to get my hands on the 4th book!

I do have to say, though, that the movie sucked. I guess if you liked it before you read the books then it's ok, but seeing it afterwards doesn't do the book any justice. They need to step it up a bit. I'm also a Harry Potter fan, and those movies are still pretty good after reading the books.

I love the movie but seperate from the books. if that makes sense. lol the movie inspired me to read the books, Rob Pattinson's "Edward"...well....he just plain "dazzled me"

I dont' believe there was much money for "Twilight" hence the technical errors. I do believe though it was beautifully shot, very "personal". IMO. There are parts of "Twilight" the book that were left out of the movie that just did'nt make sense. While I think Rob NAILED IT, kristen, imo, is no oscar winner but i do believe she makes the perfecf Bella for twilight. Simple, plain, fragile little human. That being said, I think she will be challenged greatly as the saga continues to hit the big screen. Here's hoping she comes through.

I have higher hopes for "New Moon" even though jacob can burn.Though it did'nt do the book justice, I do continue to watch Twilight over and over and over and over again. lol actually, i combine my "twi-time" and coupon time. I clip and file with Twilight playing in the background.

I highly recommend the soundtrack as well, it features TWO songs from Rob himself.
