Any Jane Austen or Pride & Prejudice Fans?

I'm a big fan of both and last night I stayed up to 3am watching a great movie/series. It's called Lost in Austen. It was a miniseries that was on British TV (about 3 hours long) and loved it! I got it from Netflix and I believe it just came out maybe a week or two ago on DVD. I liked it so much that I think I am going to buy it. I watched all versions of Pride & Prejudice and love anything to do with it, but this was better than I expected. Has anyone else seen it? I know some might not like it because it messes with the story.

I love Jane Austen and all her novels--the only one I've not read is "Persuasion", although I did see the movie a long time ago. I haven't heard anything about "Lost in Austen", but it sounds intriguing. I'll have to check it out! If you like Austen, I'll bet you'd like Elizabeth Gaskell--have you ever seen "Wives and Daughters"? That's a favorite of mine as well!

I'll have to check it out. I like anything similar. I haven't read Persuasion either but have it upstairs to read. I did watch the movie and loved the story. I've seen most of Jane Austen adaption movies. My other favorite book by a similar author is Jane Eyre and have seen all the different ones they've made. It's the only one I really like by the Brontes.
