I told my mom that joke once, then about two weeks later, heard her try to re-tell it in front of the extended family (I think over Thanksgiving dinner). Although her memory is good, her joke-telling is usually poor. Here's what she said:
What did the Buddhist say to the hotdog vendor?
Make me one all the way.  Of course, only those few of us at the table who knew the REAL joke thought this was at all funny, but better was that those at the table who DIDN'T know the real joke couldn't understand why the rest of us were laughing. |
