Movies to avoid watching!

I think I just threadjacked MuncieJo's chick flick thread, so I edited out my part and am starting a new thread!!! :)

What movie have you suffered through (either partially through or entirely though) and then wondered why on earth you wasted 90+ minutes of your life watching.

Tonight's pick is The Weather Man with Nicolas Cage. OMG - can you say S----L---O---W and dull? Not sure why we haven't taken it out the DVD player yet. DH just went outside for a cigarette and didn't bother pausing it so you know it's bad.

A few years ago we rented Drowning Mona on the recommendation of one of dh's buddies saying it was THE funniest thing he had ever seen. Danny DeVito and Bette Midler were in it, so I thought it would be good. I tried to watch it 3 different times and it put me to sleep each and every time.

And DH and I are trying to remember the movie we saw (or tried to) last week. It was so bad that we can't even remember the genre. :eek:

Have seen quite a few good movies lately....except:

Doom - with The Rock, used to be a videogame we all played a bit. Knew it was going to be cheesy and bad...but did not expect it to be that bad. Used the advance button and saw the movie in fast forward mode. Still a waste of 20 minutes.....Fortunately we got it free from the library!

Monster's Ball. We 'watched' it at a friend's house one night. I put the accent on watched, because I fell asleep during it. Rude of me, I know, but if I remember right, I was pregnant at the time and could fall asleep at the drop of a hat, and that movie was just not my taste.

OK my younger brothers think this movieis about the funniest thing since fake dog poop...I dont get it.

Other movies I dont enjoy...all of the Star Wars movies (dont thow bricks at me!)

Pretty much any movie that takes place in space is beyond me.
